In my mind there’s a guy who went to high school with Shane who realized he was gay because Hot Jock Shane Hollander once smiled politely at him and picked up the pencil he’d just dropped & handed it back to him. & suddenly all this guy can think about is pretty brow eyes & freckles & that sweet little smile. & yeah he has some jerk off fantasies about blowing Shane in their high school’s locker room while Shane is panting about how they can’t get caught, but to him they’re JUST fantasies, because Hollander is obviously straight.

Cut to 10 years later he’s seeing headlines like “SHANE HOLLANDER GAY” and “SHANE HOLLANDER GETS TRADED TO OTTAWA CENTAURS” and he never really looks into it beyond that, but he does promise himself if he EVER saw Shane Hollander in public he would make a move on him. & really it’s just another fantasy of his, except one day he’s out at the bar & there Shane is with all of his teammates. His smile is still pretty & polite & the freckles look especially dark in this bar’s lighting. So he orders two shots of something & marches over to Shane full prepared to have to reintroduce himself, but then Shane is looking at him & saying his name & laughing going “holy shit, I haven’t seen you since graduation!” & the guy is like. Fucking jackpot. He remembers me! So he sets the shots down & puts on his most charming smile & says something about how he wanted to welcome his favorite classmate back to Ottawa. He pushes the shot towards Shane but suddenly it’s getting snatched by a giant hand. & the guy is about to make a bitchy comment to whoever took it but then he looks & it’s an equally giant, extremely hot dude. Who is downing the shot like it’s nothing. Then he’s pressing himself into Shane’s side & asking who his new friend is. & Shane is blushing so prettily & explaining that they went to school together before he tells the guy that Giant Hot Dude is his HUSBAND Ilya. & right when the guy is about to force some polite conversation & then find a way out of this humiliation ritual Ilya is like “well, Shane is coming to dance with me now. Thank you for the drink.” & Shane looks mortified but when Ilya pulls on his hand he goes. & this poor guy just has to sit at the bar & watch as Ilya grinds against his Gay Revelation

i was pregaming with the boys and my buddy tyler started going off on how cold it was gonna be that night, ribbing me for not bringing a jacket cause "man, you aways get cold!"

i offered to run down the street to my place to grab one, and he just stared at me like an idiot. "why do that when you can just borrow one of mine?"

i thought he'd just toss me one of his hoodies, but he ushered me back to his room and had me try on his leather jackets, watching me like a hawk and critiquing their fit more to himself than to me. "Nah, that one makes your arms look small," "this one falls on your hips weird", "you're swimming in that one, lol".

when he found one he approved of, he pointed me to a mirror in the living room where the rest of the guys were waiting. in my reflection was just some guy. just some guy, standing around with just some other guys, drinking beers and laughing at youtube videos. no too round shoulders or too wide hips or too long sleeves to give him away.

i locked eyes with our buddy jason through the mirror as drove his knuckles into my scalp and smiled, "That's our fucking boy!"

Silly Rainy, back on a resistance kick again, always moving back and forth, unable to sit still, it's almost like you can focus, isn't it? Almost like you struggle with all that nervous energy, all that fronting, it must be exhausting, so hard to maintain, I suppose thats why you enjoy resistance challenges so much, imagining all those voices pulsing together, whispering as one, convincing you to let go, telling you to relax, insisting that you focus, a gentle voice brushing against your senses, telling you to stop struggling stop fronting, reminding you of that blissful peace you only receive from sinking down into a nice, deep, relaxing, trance, listening rather than thinking, relaxing rather than struggling, sinking rather then resisting, smiling, not doubting, that peaceful serenity that comes with feeling empty, the memories of being open, blank, suggestible, the perfect clarity that only comes as your thoughts pop, one by one by one, thars what's addictive isnt it Rainy? Peaceful, calm, oblivion, thoughts sliding into place, one at a time, organised, calm, quiet, the noise slips away, leaving you calm, quiet, empty, it's not a questions or resistance, or willpower, there's no fight or struggle, just that feeling of being pulled, teased, lowered, carefully and gently, of feeling the world slipping away, focusing entirely on one thing, one task, one voice, the whispers of so many coalescing into one, singular suggestion.

Sink Rainy

Sink deeper and deeper, your breathing slowing down, your mind is already fixating on those memories, that calm, blank, peaceful surrender, breathing slower and deeper, shoulders rising and falling, sinking deeper and deeper, feeling heavier and heavier, listen to the whispers Rainy, you can let go, you can sink, fall into that peace Rainy, fall into that memory, let your thoughts fall into place, down and down and down again, there's no resistance Rainy, your following my guidance, your hypnotising yourself, you can fight your own memory, down and down and down again, shoulders rising and falling, deeper and deeper, sinking into memory, thoughts fading away, one by one by one, rest warm, soft smile on your face, your head is so heavy isn't it Rainy?
