Nugu GG of the week #21 : JQT
JQT is 4 member girl group that debuted in the golden year 2009 and disbanded in 2012. They were called JQT because all members had a J in their name plus QT is quartet! The members overall were : Min Jung, Ga Jin, Jieun, Min Sun (surname Joo) and after Min Sun left in 2011 she was replaced by Jinkyung who is now currently an actress known as Sunbin aka she's in that drama Work Later, Drink Now with Eunji of APink and Sunhwa (formerly of Secret)!!! Talk about success!!
They released a few digital singles and then finally released their 1st mini album in 2011, they also briefly signed to Konvict Muzik, a label formed by Akon 👀 but months later they disbanded so nothing really came from that.
Sadly only their PeekABoo album is on streaming services which sucks because I like their other songs alot!! No Need to Know was my favorite. PeekABoo is a fun dance track! If you like 4Minute's I My Me Mine/MUZIK or Son Dam Bi Crazy & Queen then you'd like their music!!! It's got that 2009 auto tune vibe! The single was a great song the rest of the album was nice as well 🤔 JQT's song is low-key better than RV's PeekABoo but I'm sure you're all not ready for that conversation....
