Sh. Jarnail Singh Bajwa was born on 13 February 1966 at village Hayatpur Tehsil Samral District Ludhiana to Late Sh. Bishan Singh Bajwa and Late Smt. Gurcharan Kaur. In all, they were seven brothers and sisters. The Total land holding in the village was about 17 acres. The family was dependent on agriculture only.
The primary education was completed by Sh. Jarnail Singh Bajwa in the village school itself and later he did his graduation from Government College Ropar.
After graduation, he joined the Army and during the training period, he left the Job owing to some family issues.
Later he joined the Hindustan Machine Tools factory at Pinjore and started living at Hallo Majra Chandigarh.
Personal Life
It was during this period, there took place marriage of Sh. Jarnail Singh Bajwa with Mrs. Manjit Kaur. Out of the wed Lock, two children were born.
Sh. Jarnail Singh Bajwa is a very simple person and prefers homemade food. Enjoy Bhajans and Kirtan and has another hobby of keeping a rich race of dogs.

He has a passion for creating employment at a huge level. At present, about 1000 employees are working under him satisfactorily.

He is in the business of real estate development. The early company that he formed after quitting the job at Hindustan Machine Tools is named is Bajwa Developers Limited with its registered office at 16-17, Desu Mazra, Kharar.

The first project was a Sunny enclave that was developed on the Chandigarh Kharar Road over eight acres of land. The project, however, received a mixed response as it was neither close to Kharar town nor to Chandigarh or Mohali.
Finding this difficulty, a huge commercial area was developed in order to cater to the needs of the residents. This resulted in a great push for sale of plots. Inspired by the overwhelming response, another project as Sunny-II and then Sunny –III and IV and V were developed. At present about 10,000/- people are living in the said area enjoying the basic amenities like water supply, sewerage, green cover, Beautiful Parks, Street Lightings.
