bakugou's quirk works through a series of chemical reactions via emotional triggers. he's overloaded with glycerin within his bloodstream, alike his mother, which upon entering his sweat glands it interacts with nitric acid - causing an endothermic reaction that forms liquid nitrogliceryn, and keeping bakugou's body temperature warmer than average. this first reaction is neither explosive nor caused intentionally - just the action of sweating alone. the nitrogliceryn bakugou produces is highly volatile, highly combustible at the slightest of friction or touch, making a special alloy of clothes / fingerless gloves important in the summer months. bakugou triggers the explosion of his sweat either through physical contact, a sharp flex of his palm / fingers, or the chemical imbalance a sharp plunge / shift in emotions causes in his body.
