Authentic Mexican cuisine, with most recipes coming from family passed down over the years straight from Mexico. Made-on-site tortillas. Fresh ingredients – from the Angus beef to the tomatoes and avacados. Craft beer. Signature cocktails – margaritas, anyone? 

These delights – and more – is exactly what you’ll find at Juan’s Mexican Café and Cantina, who we were proud to feature in the pages of Volume 3 this year.

But did you know that you can find this all in three locations – Gloucester, Newport News (home of the tortilla maker) and Hampton? Or that, while JUANSDAY (started at the first and iconic Gloucester location) may officially be celebrated every Wednesday, you can find JUAN great deal and reason to eat at Juan’s nearly every day of the week at every location?

For your meal planning purposes, we’ve compiled their weekly specials here! When you visit, be sure to tell Juan that Scout sent you!

Mondays: 5 to 9 p.m. enjoy half prices fajitas. Chicken or steak. Dine in only.

Tuesdays: Kids Eat Free! One free meal with each adult entrée.

Taco Tuesdays: $1.50 Tacos. Chef’s choice each week. Dine in only.

Wednesday: $1 beers 4 to 9 p.m.

Thursday: 50 percent off for military veterans all day.

Friday: $3.99 House margaritas 4 to 9 p.m.

Saturday: $2 canned beers.

Sunday: 50 cent wings.
