yooo very sad that argentina lost today i was really hoping for a win or at least a tie

on the brazil game: i think that if luana, formiga, erika and letícia santos were playing they could've beaten the us

I'm sad for Argentina because they were SO CLOSE. The backline was holding and being a nuisance, they had a couple of really good chances even! But the game got super physical and the Argentines took a beating. After Agus had to come off I had the sinking feeling that shit was about to go wrong—and sadly I was right. But they showed amazing discipline in keeping the lines together and very good defensive awareness, overall I'm sad they lost on a stupid mistake BUT I'm not disappointed!

Oh the what ifs for Brazil. The truth is that the defense got outplayed, and wishing to have 4 other players who weren't with the team this time isn't gonna make us less sad. Whether they're there or not this team needs to start bringing in new talent, because players like Formiga won't be around forever. I would've liked to see Jucinara start this game just on giving the backline a little more shape BUT again, a lot of what ifs. Hopefully Pia reevaluates the playing strategy and starts looking for better defensive coaching plays. PLEASE STOP MAKING ME SAD, BRAZIL! YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE, WE WERE ALL COUNTING ON YOU!!!!

(I guess it's up to Argentina now to frustrate the uswnt. just like.... someone tell Lindsey Horan and Julie Ertz that this isn't the MMA and if they could go ahead and NOT murder all the Argentinians that would be nice. Or let Cometti loose on them. Either one, not picky)
