This tiny newt larvae is about 1 cm long, and I love them!

Mostly cloudy with some occasional drops of rain. The surface of the water was covered with some kind of film and a lot of pollen, so it was harder to see below the surface than usual. Found one 1 cm small newt larva, one adult northern crested newt and two smooth newts. Saw 3 small grass snakes, two of which were soaking up the sun on a small rock in the pond. Also saw a cat for some reason…
