Happy FFWF, love! After our talk, some headcanons of grandma!Lillian and Rex and Evelyn meeting little Joseph and Jude? As for the Herrons, was Hestia up to something before teaching in Hogwarts?

Well, Evelyn has heard plenty about Caspar’s lady but not her name because he goes all shy over Jude and purposely never calls her by her name. So one day she tells him to invite his mysterious woman round for dinner and Evelyn is absolutely thrilled to see Jude turn up looking as fabulous as always. In their line of work, Evelyn and Jude know each other but have always kept it professional and they both look forward to getting to know each other personally. Evelyn would absolutely adore little Joseph too and he totally becomes her ‘great grandson’; she also gives him one of Caspar’s old coats left over from when he was small.

Rex is equally as thrilled. Like his Evie, Jude is a strong independent woman with a soft side and who would anything for her children. He knows that she is a perfect match for Caspar and he’s very proud of the fact that Caspar wants to love somebody else’s child as if they were his own. Rex tells Caspar so that same night and it all gets a little emotional. He would love to play with Joseph too and tell him cool vampire facts (whether Joseph can understand is different matter lol) and tells Jude that both of them are welcome to his home at anytime and that he’d be happy to babysit too!

Before becoming the Charms professor, Hestia worked for the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes and eventually rose to be its department head. She loved this job very much and could see herself staying out until retirement, but she heard that there was an opening for the position of charms professor at Hogwarts and saw it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Hestia was absolutely ecstatic when she got the job.

Happy FFWF: For Caspar and Lyle; when did they knew that Jude and Blanche were the one? Also, headcanons of grandpa Eli and granny Miriam? And for Galen: what would his reaction be when Lady Gray gives him a Kneazle cub, telling him teasingly that she can be quite feisty?

Tysm for the ask! These were such fun to answer! And I totally could’ve ranted about Eliriam as grandparents for the rest of the night agsgdhhdjs

• Caspar knew that Jude was the one for him when he saw her with her son for the first time. He knew she was headstrong and feisty and it sort of put him off in a way because he thought of they were a couple they’d clash too often and get annoyed that the other was working so much. But when Caspar saw Jude with Joseph, he saw this beautiful caring and soft side to her and it made him realise that she was just the kind of woman for him lowkey thought he wouldn’t have a chance with her tho lol

• Lyle knew that Blanche was the one for him in similar circumstances. He saw her doing an excellent job at standing up for herself against some boys bullying a first year who couldn’t keep their derogatory mouths shut. After they left, tails between their legs, she comforted the first year and Lyle saw that Blanche was a woman who could easily kick his ass but who would also love with every bit of her mind, body, and soul.

GRANDPARENTS!ELIRIAM HEADCANONS

— The birth of their first grandchild Leo was very emotional for both of them. Seeing Zelda as a mother was a joy and especially after she told Miriam that she hoped to be at least half the mother she is and if it wasn’t for her parents Zelda would never have been confirmed enough to have children.

— It’s actually Eli that teaches Berenice how to plait hair. She one day saw that Miriam had a beautiful plait complete with flowers and wanted to have her hair done exactly the same. Eli’s own mother had taught him so he could do Miriam’s hair, so showing Berenice how to do it was an absolute pleasure.

— Leo attached himself to Eli like a duckling imprinting on a human, following him around and trying on his hat and boots, exclaiming that one day he, too, was going to be an intrepid explorer. He always wanted Eli’s original hat but because it had already been gifted to Uncle Bram Leo was gutted, but for his 11th birthday Eli gifted Leo his very own hat with a label on the inside that read ‘To my little treasure- love Grandad x’

— Grandma Miriam read all sorts of stories and sung all sort of nursery rhymes to both Leo and Berenice whenever they stayed over. It blossomed their shared love for literature and music and nothing made Miriam happier than seeing her grandchildren genuinely interested in reading. She also taught them important charms and absolutely magical plants way before they learned about them at Hogwarts.

— Eli and Miriam would always take Leo and Berenice to museums, galleries, fairs, and to the beach. Days out with their grandparents were what the two young kids looked forward to more than absolutely anything. Eli ensured that their outings weren’t just about fun, but about education too and that’s how Leo and Berenice developed their thirst for knowledge and learning. Sometimes they both wonder why they didn’t end up in Ravenclaw lol.

• Galen would absolutely love a pet Kneazle gifted from Prim. He’d be very taken aback at first because ‘what did I do to deserve just a special gift?’ and insist that he couldn’t possibly take it. But after Prim’s own insistence, he’s thank you profusely, promising to take good care of the Kneazle, and joke that he’s dealt with far more feistier things *cough* Shiv *cough*
