update on the furbies i mentioned a couple days ago!

so, context: i got top surgery last wednesday, my mom posted a pic of me the morning after in which i had one of my furbies (Tanny Devito). my childhood best friend's dad commented saying he had a couple furbies in smushed boxes and I could have them if i wanted.

yesterday he came by and gave them to me, along with a 2012 that his daughter (the childhood best friend) had bought when it came out. I was expecting them to be early series adults, maybe Gen 3 at the latest, but i was so wrong! here they are:

Turns out it was a Juicy Grape (gen 7 adult) and a Lime Green (gen 4 baby)! I had never even seen this color pattern for the baby, I am SO excited to test them out. He said he did a quick ebay search and saw that furbies were like $20 so he was fine with parting with $40, but since these are actually somewhat valuable I'm gonna send him some money anyway.
