Lists with allocated time for each task. Break tasks down. Get a program like ‘self-control’ which lets you block yourself from certain websites for amounts of time. Give yourself relaxation time so your body doesn’t force you to zone out.

My advice, set up several alarms on your phone to bring you back into reality and title them with whatever task you need to be doing. It helps me remember to do stuff!

If I’m in the middle of doing a project and get bored of it, I switch to another project. Another thing that helps me is a tight, written-down schedule (breaks sometimes included). I also make myself mid-goals to get a feeling of accomplishment.

Don’t hurt yourself! There must be another solution. Do you have a councilor to talk to?
Excuse me while I respond to all of you at once but thank you so much for the input! I went to bed after I had made that post, and combining that with the messages/advice you have I feel somewhat better already! Fortunately so long as I keep myself well rested my brain should be able to keep me from doing any cruel "self discipline" as I HAVE to a point built up a restraint from doing such things in the recent few years, and so long as stress isn't immediately overwhelming (time-related pressure often would be an example) and I get enough sleep, such cruel practices will luckily never happen (also sweethearts like you who care give me moreso reason to not injure myself intentionally).
I can't really get much help from the councillor for such a thing since they've already done best they can to make the work load manageable (plus there are complications to that due to the previous semester, so it's not much of a helpful option to ask for anymore help there), the main issue is getting me to successfully manage work/unwinding so that no imbalance-related stress causes my brain to shut down.
Lists, scheduling, and reminder-alarms just might be the ticket to getting me back to workable stability. I already use my iCalender (which comes with a new reminding feature on my new mac!) so I could put my schedule there, and then put alarms on my phone for the more important tasks (or as just a wake-up call for those times I shut down, since luckily it happens at specific hours, making the shut-downs more predictable/preventable). That being said though, it might take a bit to get a schedule planned out;
as I got a hell lot of things to do. This here isn't even all of the things I need to do, just the stuff I can immediately think of. Damn looking at all of these tasks (even if you just count the college work) no wonder my brain has been shutting down. I can only handle a small number of tasks (especially immediate college tasks) in my head at a time, put more than that, and my brain starts to freak out from overload.
It'll likely take a while to get this plan to perfection (especially since my mind can be moody with scheduales for some weird reason), but I have a feeling it just might work!
