How I feel about this character:

so like you know when the immortal soldier in an eternal doomed trench war, his body continually being replaced and changed until his humanity itself is a ship of theseus, lands in a pristine past-world where the calamity has not yet occurred . and he's FUNNY AS HELL. chef's kiss also: sad . i feel sad about him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

i'm aro headcanons georg so it feels fucked up and unnatural for me to romantically ship a character with no canon interest in romance However . it must be said. nothing hits quite as hard as two people on the frontlines of an impossible war finding comfort in each other even as hope dies and their bodies degrade. so i guess i ship him with his dead siblings in arms, whoever they might have been? yayyyy

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

do i even have to say it . host!vic Absolutely. character who laughs and smiles because humor is the only thing he has left in the face of decades of warfare (and one of the last things he has left of his humanity) plus character who laughs and smiles because they're playing a Part and wearing a Mask and desperate for any sort of of connection. and through shared coping mechanisms they find honest joy and human connection in each other . and it's Beautiful.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

oh goodness. i actually think it's fucked up that he killed all those bugs. if we had a bug invasion in the real world my stance has always been that we should just let 'em have at it, personally. this isn't an unpopular opinion it's just a funny connection but sometimes i like to think that the "alien bugs" he was fighting against were midnight lice and there was a catastrophic communication breakdown that led to war with humans. um. oh here's a hot take. time travel gives me a headache. i prefer to imagine any time travelers in vip are just dimension-hoppers who got confused, which also handily explains all the additional weirdness.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

well ! it would have been really awesome if he had . y'know Lived. but we can't have nice things. @alittlevillainy has an au where the host brings jukebox to avery goodman to fix him and it's really excellent and i think of it often !
