May 26th Ireland - Sarina Bellissimo interviews Bruno Mars

Last Sunday I went up to Derry to meet Bruno Mars before he took to the stage at Radio 1′s Big Weekend. He is so suave, cool, and a charmer!

We chatted about his love for his Irish fans; not just writing music but writing ‘events’; collaborating with other artists; his love for Janet Jackson; why camera phones are not necessarily a good things at concerts; and lots more.

Mars has written hit singles for himself and many other musical artists. Mars has always had great musical talent, but people would also be surprised by his other unknown talents. Mars told us that growing up, he did impersonations, one being the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.
