Kagami is a lesbian. A fact she's very cognizant of when she meets a tall and beautiful guitarist, when Marinette invites her to a friend's band practice.

femslash february #2: julegami (faithful, lily)

kagami is nervous about her new relationship, considering her prior experiences, and wants to test if juleka is faithful to her. she offers juleka a potted lily and tells her to water it whenever she thinks of her. she reasons that if juleka thinks of her at least once every day, then the lily will live for a long time and look happy and healthy the whole while.

when kagami visits six days later, the lily is already dead. the flowerpot stands empty in the windowsill. kagami is certain that juleka doesn't want her anymore - until she sees that juleka goes over to the flowerpot and pours water into it. in fact, kagami realises there was water in there already, there just wasn't any soil. juleka pours it full, and then goes to empty it into the kitchen sink. when she returns, kagami asks her what's going on. and juleka replies, "um, i kind of killed the lily immediately because i drowned it in all the water. but i've kept watering the pot. i've emptied it fifty times already..."

Summary: 

Marinette calls an emergency meeting for the Girl Squad over Adrien and Kagami going to London together. Juleka thinks of an easy solution: kidnap Kagami. The others protest, but Juleka is already three steps ahead of them. With help from Luka, she might just pull off keeping Kagami in Paris for the weekend. Even if Kagami's mother is crazy strict and intimidating.

hey! thanks for the ask, haha. i don't currently have plans for any more julegami content of my own but i do absolutely love the ship, so i very well may create more stories for the ship in the future (you're also probably aware of at least one of my two julegaminette stories, since you're sending this ask to me). but for the time being i don't have any ideas or plans for that kind of thing.

i also am not an artist, so i can't help directly with art. but if i see any julegami content, written or drawn, in the wild - i'll probably reblog it!

as for other people's content, here's a fic from 2022 that features julegami as the main ship, by @mexicancat-girl. it's pretty lovely ^^

Oh, interesting. I have literally never thought about this ship before but I'm determined to ship it because I like both these characters and I love sapphic content! What made you ship it? - This ask! because I was forced to think about it 😂. I actually think this ship makes sense in a world where the love square and feluka are together. Because felix and adrien are cousins and kagami is one of marinette's best friends, so julegami is suddenly forced into all these social situations together. Neither of them--albeit for slightly different reasons--like being forced into social situations. They bond over that. Or they catch each other trying to sneak out a few too many times. They start covering for each other. Develop some inside jokes. It becomes a thing. Why do I want to write this now? What are your favorite things about the ship? - I really just want to say "the vibes" but i already said that for ladrien and also it's a cop-out aksjdbksjd. Actually, I think these two characters would challenge each other in very interesting ways. Juleka's pretty anxious, but Kagami would push her to have more confidence in herself. To speak up about her strengths and such, because talking down about your talents is something Kagami's never considered. On the other hand, she'd learn the hard way that pushing Juleka too hard doesn't work. And I think Juleka would push Kagami to be less serious. I think they have a ridiculous sense of humour together. I think all of their friends are like WTF when they first get together but after a while wonder why they didn't see it.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? - Well, kabfkjdb I can't say. I think shipping it might be the unpopular opinion in this case 😂

julegami headcanons because i can!!

i must say that this ship is VERY HIGH in my list of favourite ships so uh here

- juleka and kagami FIRST meet when marinette is out with kagami getting some OJ

- im an idiot and i like angst and hurt/comfort potential so ima say that rose and chloé would be an interesting ship??? anyway

- kagami is, as usual, tryna be Nice and Friendly but failing, marinette tries covering it up and making it seem less weird but instead of being weirded out juleka is like “chill hi”

- juleka is one of the few people who can see through kagami’s strange friendship-app things

- kagami likes to do That Meme (the one where the girl has her leg up on the locker?? yall know??) with juleka and it sorta fails bc juleka is a bit taller lmao

- rose ships it very much

- kagami starts going to the kitty section rehearsals and marinette (being…marinette) thinks it’s because she likes luka

- and then the girl gang have one of those meetings they usually have for adrienette but instead its lukagami. juleka is MAD JEALOUS and only rose realises lmao

- then marinette realises and becomes kagami’s wingwoman because she totally would

- marinette: kagami you just have to ASK HER

kagami, later: juleka i think you look like a vampire would you like to get ice cream ?

juleka: …sure

- luka also ships it and wants to go all big brother and say to kagami “if you hurt her i’ll kill you” but hes too scared

- so instead luka’s just preparing for a future wedding

- tbh i think juleka x rose x kagami x chloé has a LOTTTT of angst and fluff potential but im getting wayyyy too out of hand with these ships

- adrien remains oblivious to the entire relationship until kagami bursts into the homeroom and yells “JULEKA GO OUT WITH ME”

- the whole class stands up and starts cheering

- juleka is BRIGHT FUCKING RED and so is kagami

- anarka loves kagami too
