Despite his usual bravado, Jules was pleasantly surprised that this evening was finally happening. Tansy wasn't an easy person to convince, but he managed to get her to agree to an evening out. So he stood outside the restaurant he'd said he'd take her to, with his hands in his pockets. When he spotted her, his face lit up. "I was half-convinced you wouldn't show up," he said, head tilting ever so slightly. "You would have missed out on a great night."

"You’ll never get what you want. Not from him." Jules folded his arms across his chest as he regarded them, a certain sincerity in his voice. He's witnessed how badly his brother had been treating them -- practically neglecting them-- and he didn't think that was right. Though he wasn't necessarily sure his intentions were altruistic.
