If you are a Jason fan you absolutely MUST read Judd Winick’s story in the Robin 80th Anniversary Spectacular. No other writer understands Jason as well as he does, and Dustin Nguyen’s art gives it so much heart. Cannot it recommend enough.

What are some nicknames you think Tim and his s/o would give to each other? (And maybe the same for the other batboys?)

Oo what a good question!

I don’t think Tim would use many ones, maybe something like “angel” or “lovely.” Tim’s s/o I think would be unabashed: “handsome,” “cutie,” “nerd,” (Tim probably uses that on his s/o too, betting they’re a pair of nerds) “bird boy,” “bird brain”—you know, peak romance. Also, “Timmy” to tease him.

Jason would use “babe,” ironically at first but over time it becomes genuine. Jason’s s/o would use “babe” back, teasing him for ironically using it and then also coming around to use it seriously. Jason also would like “beautiful” and “gorgeous.” The s/o would like “Jay” and “handsome” too.

Dick would have no hesitation use literally anything. “Honey,” “sweetie,” “darling,” “love,” “dear”—also “beautiful,” “gorgeous,” “angel” like Jason or Tim would use. Dick’s s/o probably wouldn’t lay it on quite as thick, maybe a “honey” or a “handsome” or “smart ass” or “nice ass.”

Damian... well, you know grown up Damian would use “beloved.” But also, other formal ones, “my dearest” or “lover.” I think his s/o might occasionally use “Dami” to DEVASTATING effect if they so choose, but other than that I don’t imagine his s/o using many nicknames.

Anyone following me for that Tim Drake x Reader fic, Explosions And Other Saturday Morning Activities...

Good news!!! I finished the third and final part of the fic!! I really liked how it turned out. I have to edit it but it should be ready for posting soon. However, it turned out to be 10K words long! I was thinking about splitting in and posting it in two parts, 5K each. There’s a perfect point to split it up.

If I did this, I’d post the first part, which would be part 3, one day and then maybe post the next part, which would be a part 4, a few days later. Or I could post this as a huge fic all at once.

So informal poll for anyone interested, reply with your opinion: should I post it as one chapter (10K) or split it in two (5K, released a few days apart)?
