How observant is your OC? Do they pay attention to/remember details well? — Callie is very observant!! Not only because of the whole detective thing but also because thats just the way she’s always been, especially with people. She notices tics, expressions, small gestures, hints as to who they are like clothing choice, and that helps her a lot in reading people. She’s also got a very good memory so if she’s given information, especially if its written down, she has close to a photographic memory where she doesn’t see the picture but once that information is in her brain it’s there for basically ever.
also because i rarely talk about him i would like to add that Reilly is probably the closest to her on a ranking of who’s most observant! He is super attentive to everything and has a very quick reaction time.
Which OC has the best imagination? — I think I’ve already answered this and said Yvonne, but if i had to pick another it would be Jules! She’s less outward about it but she is really creative and her imagination does manifest itself more in like way to help with her job/solve cases than in a traditionally creative sense but its definitely still there.
Which OC is the most hypocritical? — uhhh gonna switch series and say Lorcan because I think all of the task force is relatively tame in hypocrisy especially compared to him! He is absolutely the main antagonistic force of the story but he’s consistently such a hypocrite in the way he treats Sariel and I think their unrevealed backstory adds a lot of depth to that once it is shown!

*used to have cardinal wings
*from the second iteration of the Compass Teams. the only member who’s consistently been part of CT’s longer than Jules is Braeburn.
*has a very casual on-again, off-again friends-with-benefits type of relationship with Braeburn, largely based around the fact that they’ve known each other for eight years and everyone else they’ve known in that time frame is gone now thanks
*the above relationship started out that way, at least, but Jules and Braeburn both actually really like each other. they’re just currently Dealing With A Lot and probably need some therapy and a couple of good whacks to the back of the head
*Jules is genderfluid, answers to any pronoun, but has a slight preference towards male pronouns. she picked the name Jules out after realizing that she’s had so many aliases over the years, she couldn’t remember what her original name actually was.
*a spy by trade who served in two wars before this, and did I mention could use a lot of therapy, hun, your mindset’s gone all boggled by now.
*Jules develops a ridiculous soft-spot for BJ, and it’s actually her attachment to him that gets her ass into gear about handling the Plot Important Problems.
*Jules has a good working relationship with Adele, though you can’t exactly call them friends. professionals who are fond of each other, maybe. they have this long running game where they only agree to hep each other out if a favor is offered in return, but nothing ever comes out of that. it’s just how they get around the fact that they shouldn’t be working together.
*has the really bad habit of falling asleep while she’s smoking. several arm chairs and long sleeved shirts have been ruined because of this. no, she won’t stop, thanks.
*if you are around Jules for longer than .4 seconds, she will give you a nickname in French, and she will never explain what it actually means. don’t bother asking her. it won’t happen.
*she snorts when she laughs and has a fondness for cognac and is allergic to cats and misses the days when she was able to fly. she can wield any small blade with expert efficiency and has a large IRL kill count than anyone else on the team. her contracts always end with someone else dead and she is filled with the desperate, irrational insistence that she’s not ready to die yet despite not knowing exactly why.
*Jules has been part of the Compass Teams so long that she isn’t sure she could ever live a normal life somewhere, but sometimes she thinks about how she has been so many people, it would be easy for her to burn off her finger tips and just vanish into the night and never look back and it pisses her off that she’s never going to be able to do that so long as Braeburn and BJ are still working for the GSC. she hates that she likes either of them and wants to go back to being the person everyone thought was a selfish prick.
*she has EDS and is on experimental medication for it, and spends her Winter Breaks doing Bonus Missions for the GSC. Jules isn’t sure that she’s ever just been herself and the thought of being that now scares the shit out of her, but then she thinks about BJ and outstretched hands and the offer of Mercy, and she thinks that maybe she wants to try and become herself instead of someone else for a change.

The Elwood family were a disgrace to many Silvers. They were the only silver-blooded family to possess no powers; classified as reds by few. It was a curse in their silver bloodline when an ancestor secretly - and quite idiotically - married a woman whose blood was colored red. When word spread across the nation about their marriage, the Elwood family were instantly disregarded by the Silver's. They were exiled out of Summerton for their shameful actions, and they lived in Rocasta for the remainder of their lives.
Jules Elwood learned to live without having a gift that could've helped her in countless situations. The girl grew up in the royal palace at Archeon due to the former queen, Coraine, grew up with Jules' father and she offered her parents a place in the palace soon after she married King Tiberias VI. Since Jules knew the royal family well, it didn't take much to persuade the King into letting her train alongside his sons, Cal and Maven. Since then, she forged herself into a lethal soldier and buried the weak girl that everyone presumed her to be. Shockingly, it even made Queen Elara proud to see her transformation.
Even though she can be deadly, her charm and delightfulness never vanished from when she was a child. She remained her kind self even after all the years of torment from Silvers who thought so highly of themselves. It was like a flame that never blew out, no matter how many times you try. Many admired that quality, especially Cal. During stressful times of planning out war strategies, the girl would still be able to crack a joke every so often to lighten the mood. Most wouldn't find it amusing, but it never failed to crack a smile on Cal's face.
It was the reason he fell for the girl in the first place. She captured the most valuable piece from; his heart. And she never realized it.
