Whumper stood at the doorway with a grim expression, twirling a knife in deft fingers. Whumpee raised herself onto her elbows and nearly blacked out again at the dizziness that hit her. Nausea rose in her throat again, and this time she could only lean over the bucket near the bed and heave the contents of her last meal into the white plastic.

“I’ve never had someone be so disgusted by my presence that they threw up. I’ll have to add that to my resume.” Whumper’s voice was drier than Whumpee’s throat.

“Bold of you to assume it was your presence that made me gag.” She managed to sound alright, but her voice was still raspy. “Maybe it was your horrible fashion choice.”

They’re safe, she told herself as the hold on her hair loosened and a pair of cuffs was locked around her wrists. My team is safe.

The words did nothing to help her when Whumper grabbed her bicep and dragged her across the warehouse, forcing Whumpee to keep up with his long strides. She stumbled after him on shaking legs, unable to believe what she had just done to herself for the people she loved.

Unable to ignore the knowledge of what he would now do to her because of the people she loved.

How observant is your OC? Do they pay attention to/remember details well? — Callie is very observant!! Not only because of the whole detective thing but also because thats just the way she’s always been, especially with people. She notices tics, expressions, small gestures, hints as to who they are like clothing choice, and that helps her a lot in reading people. She’s also got a very good memory so if she’s given information, especially if its written down, she has close to a photographic memory where she doesn’t see the picture but once that information is in her brain it’s there for basically ever.

also because i rarely talk about him i would like to add that Reilly is probably the closest to her on a ranking of who’s most observant! He is super attentive to everything and has a very quick reaction time.

Which OC has the best imagination? — I think I’ve already answered this and said Yvonne, but if i had to pick another it would be Jules! She’s less outward about it but she is really creative and her imagination does manifest itself more in like way to help with her job/solve cases than in a traditionally creative sense but its definitely still there.

Which OC is the most hypocritical? — uhhh gonna switch series and say Lorcan because I think all of the task force is relatively tame in hypocrisy especially compared to him! He is absolutely the main antagonistic force of the story but he’s consistently such a hypocrite in the way he treats Sariel and I think their unrevealed backstory adds a lot of depth to that once it is shown!

thinking about the first time sariel flinches away from lorcan. not just when he's hurting her, not a little shudder, but the way she'll jerk back when he's just talking with his hands during an interrogation. the way her chains will rattle and she'll scramble for an answer to the question he just posed, eyes wide, and he'll realize that even though he couldn't see it in the moment, months of captivity have made her so so so afraid.
