Pretty Woman | Julian & Sophia
It was stupid, really, the fact that she was clinging onto a man so she wouldn’t have the chance to face who she was in the mirror. The thing was, whenever she did give a hard look in the mirror, she often said to herself that she was blonde, beautiful, brilliant and capable of extraordinary things. This, in every sense, wasn’t false or lies because she knew she was those things – but that wasn’t what she was searching for. Acceptance. It’s what she was dying for and she knew that those who loved her wouldn’t react the way she was picturing them – laughing in her face, calling her names, tossing her onto the floor in disgust. No, they would accept her with a smile and arms wide open.
So, why could she do that for herself?
“… Bleek, Miss Bleek. Was this the size you needed?” The associate asked with a polite smile. Blinking a few times, the blonde looked up at her and nodded. “Uh, yup. Eight.” Giving her a smile, she took the pair and heaved a slight sigh. “Did your boyfriend want some water, Miss Bleek?” Quirking a brow, she snaps her head up to the associate as a chuckle escapes her lips. “My boyfriend?” Sophia repeats as she turns over to Julian. “Honey, did you want some water? The lovely associate would like to know. They toss in bits of strawberry into their water that makes it taste absolutely wonderful. You should try it, my dear boyfriend.” Grinning, she looks up at him and raises a brow.
