💙 Meet Julianna! 💙

I am so pleased to introduce my beautiful Julianna 👩🏽💙

I have been working on my Julia all winter. She began as my very first American Girl doll. She was of some help when I was working on my Ashley girl, as these two have been my first customizations. Since Jules was old enough to be needing care, the idea of remaking her had been circling in my head ever since. I think she has grown into her new self well.

Meet Julia! (Birthday: January 24)

Julianna is a customized Julie Albright American Girl doll. She has lightly tanned skin, soft brown eyes, and a straight nose. Her eyebrows are thick and she has a beauty mark under her right eye. Her thick, brownish-auburn hair (from DallasDollCo) is cut to medium length, with short straight across bangs.

Julianna’s light shirt, patterned pants, socks, and navy turtleneck are homemade. She wears claw clips and her handmade dinosaur necklace and teal dangly earrings. Her shoes are from Etsy and her teal underwear is Our Generation. Her modified navy satchel, along with her caterpillar stuffie, is from Target. Inside Julia’s bag is a homemade field guide, an Our Generation pencil, and a (Disney) notebook. Her digital camera and binoculars are American Girl brand.

Julianna, who also goes by “Julia” or “Jules,” is 9 years old. She came into the world as Julie Albright, her beloved person’s very first American Girl Doll, which they bought with their own money. Julia has since grown (with the help of her person) into the doll she is today. She even has her ears pierced, now, and loves to try different hairstyles with her clips and hair ties!

Even though she spends time by herself, Julia’s loved ones are very important to her. She always enjoys spending time with her best friend, Ashley, and their person, Sable Rose.

Jules is sweet, quiet, focused, cool, and a little intense. She has an independent personality, and pays of attention to detail. She loves to concentrate on her hobbies, and can lose track of time looking at bugs in the forest or reading about dinosaurs- taking notes along the way, of course. She thinks reptiles are so cute! Jules loves to learn, and is always ready to talk about it. Her favorite time to do this is over a good meal- the most important part of the day, in her opinion. Julianna enjoys all the intriguing and beautiful things in the world.

Restart au

I've been having brainrot about pokemon protagonists, and decided to project all of it onto Julianna.

The idea is that, in this au, every pokemon protagonist is the same person. Julianna is the same as May, and Serena, and Leaf etc. Leaf started out on her journey, and followed the normal storyline. She beat the gyms, beat the champion, and beat team rocket, however afterwards team Rocket wouldn't leave her alone, and so she was forced to 'restart' in gen 2, under a new name.

I just loooove the angst potential, because at first, in S/V, the main villains are high school bullies, and Julianna almost started sobbing in relief. Alongside the fact she got to go to school?!

She builds up her team, and beats the gyms, not necessarily out of want, but because she's terrified that something will happen and she won't be prepared. The elite four are watching her because they're aware of the situation, and want to help this girl get a goddamn vacation (other than Poppy, she's not been told much because it's a bit much, no matter how strong she is). Geeta keeps an eye on her because she thinks that Julilanna may be the solution to the professor's madness, and pushes her to grow so that she can be their regions protector (we don't like Geeta in this au).

Julianna befriends Nemona, Arven and Penny, and they eventually all travel together to area zero, where they witness Julianna's Crashout Of The Century (idk yet for certain, I haven't fleshed out lategame yet).

Anyway, that's my worddump of an au! feel free to make art, fics etc, just credit and tag me, I wanna see it!

(also I think this au would be GREAT for julianna/nemona. just saying. I love lesbians.)

Juliana has been many people. Leaf. Lyra. May. Dawn. Hilda. Serena. Selene. Gloria. And now Juliana. 

Today was the start of Juliana’s ninth first journey. Today she would receive her ninth first pokemon. She wishes she held more than apprehension. 

Juliana is tired of hoping. At first it was fine. She was a normal girl named Leaf. She was a normal girl, starting her journey in Kanto on her 10th birthday. She got a pidgey as her starter, and set out. She was happy with her pokemon, her life, her choices. She managed to get through every gym. She was one step away from champion, and then was forced to uproot her life because Team Rocket didn’t like that she’d disrupted their plans, and Mewtwo was a neutral party, not a helping one. 

Witness protection. A whole new life. A new name. A new start. It ripped out her heart to leave her pokemon and her family behind, especially pidgeot - her partner who had been there for her through everything. But, she couldn’t drag them down with her. So, she moved on. 

She was a normal girl named Lyra. She had an eevee as a partner. She set out. She defeated the gyms, she travelled across the country, and she was ready to finally accept the title she had left behind. And then team Rocket came back. They came back, looking for revenge, and looking to scrape footholds out of her carefully rebuilt foundation. She fled back home, only once. She met Red. She saw the life she would have if she continued as herself.

This one hurt even more. A second new life. A second new name. A second new start. Espeon was her best friend, the one she relied on for everything, because she just couldn’t take anyone else down with her. Espeon was the only one she confined in, and now she was leaving again. Lyra died, her heart staying behind with Espeon and her team. 

May set out on her first journey a month later. She tried so hard to shut them out, so that what happened with Espeon and Pidgeot never happened again, but her damned treecko wouldn’t give up. Sceptile was her partner, one who saw her through everything that region threw at her.

This time, it wasn’t team Rocket. It was an entirely new team. One that had no ties to her or her past, and yet somehow, she managed to be the only one in the position to stop them. Somehow she did. She still bears the scars from Rayquaza’s wrath, and knows that Sceptile does too. 

Again. Restart. Her name was Dawn, and her starter was a starly. Starly was a normal/flying type, and from the corner of her eye, all Dawn could see were brown and tan feathers. Plasma were a new threat. They weren’t the first to tamper with legendaries, but Dialga and Palkia were so much more than Groudon and Kyogre had been. An unstoppable threat on another level besides physical. If it weren’t for the lake guardians, there would have been no way she would have survived. 

(This was when she learned why it all seemed to happen to her. This is where she learned that being a legendary’s favourite wasn’t as appealing as it sounded. 

This was when she learned that Arceus was real, and that It was an absolute bastard.)

But she did survive (she always did and she always will), and the scattered remnants of Plasma were after her again. 

Restart. Her name was Hilda. Her starter was a venipede. Her travelling companions didn’t understand why she was so scared of pidove, and yet refused to attack any on the routes. 

Restart. Her name was Serena, and her starter was a froakie. Kalos was somehow worse, because she wasn’t just an adversary, she was a target, and her bond with Greninja was different from the others she had experienced before.

Restart. Her name was Selene and her starter was a Grubbin. 

Restart. Her name was Gloria and her starter was a Rookidee. 

Restart. Her name is Julianna, and today she’ll be meeting her partner for the first time.
