My final work for @mlbfemslashfebruary! Lila plans to get close to a grieving Juleka as a way to reinstate herself in Marinette's friend group, allowing her another chance at tearing it apart. Things don't exactly go as planned.

What’s your current Lila ships? (if you have any) any ship suggestions ?

OH MAN good question. and funny question. me and cap talk about so many batshit aus that some of the ships we have make no sense without reams of context but. lets dive in!

-lilanette is a classic which i dont feel like i have to explain -lila and nino but like in a qpr way. in this specific scenario, nino and alya are properly dating, but nino and lila live together and are incredibly close friends and shes kind of their professional third wheel. the kind where alya was super worried at first but after getting to know her realizes she is no threat to their relationship whatsoever. she is too busy running pyramid schemes to worry about romance. but they're also inseperable and very important to each other. deeper than friends but not to the extent of romance. basically described as "and they were roommates". also aro lila. -lila and juleka but specifically in a toxic way. unhealthy relationship goals. -lila and mireille, but specifically for comedy. the most interesting, chaos riddled person to walk the plot has been neutralized by dating The Most Boring Person On Earth and its really funny. Lila loves her boring girlfriend even if all they do is go to cafes and order bottled water or watch friends on netflix. Marinette wants to organize a rescue mission to get lila out of there. but lila has resigned herself to her boring fate. mireille is akuma proof as well because shes a Background Character so lila is safe from any further hawkmoth influence.

-lila and max, both in an ace way, where lila drives him crazy and irritates him on purpose and max cant figure out why he still doesn't hate having her around. both crazy geniuses in their own right. they compliment each others strengths and make up for their weaknesses. and i think they're cool. a powerful team.

-lila and adrien, but in the kind of bond they'd have in the future where like. "we were hurt and used by the same cruel person, and then we hurt and used each other, but its easier to just blame him and reside in this kindred feeling than confront the problems that are still here" kinda way. yaknow?

-theres a case for lila and nathaneal here too, but also probably in an unhealthy way where she inevitably rejects him (sorry nath to do that to you. again.)

-i know felila (felix and lila) is very common, and while i do see the potential, for some reason, it just doesnt catch anything for me

@ether-solrac here with another AU idea. so I saw the post the other day where someone asked about lila/Juleka so here's a smaller AU idea I felt like sharing becuase of course I had to come up with something for an almost nonexistent crackship.

Basically it starts with Juleka being the massive Cryptid that she is and knowing that Lila has been telling lies since Juleka is always in the background observing. Lila sees her as a threat and comes up with some crazy lie about Juleka, only instead of believing her they're like "oh! You have Juleka theories too? Let add it to the board!" and the rest of the class just pulls out a betting pool on various theories about Juleka. Theyre all over the place. Some people think she's a Mafia boss, others think she's a literal pirate who got misplaced in time, some think she's actually a vampire, etc. There's even a single bet that she's the chosen of some supernatural frog God of Cryptids. That last one spooks everyone esle the fuck out since no one knows who the hell wrote that one on the board.

Anyways. This leaves Lila very frustrated since none of her attempts to discredit Juleka are actually working. But what confuses her and leaves her on edge is that despite everything juleka hasnt retaliated against her at all. She spends days expecting some kind of backlash from the goth that has a creepy habit of appearing out of nowhere. It gets to the point that when she's alone she starts having a small panic attack. She looses focus until she feels someone hug her from behind and provide enough support to ground herself. When she's back to normal she turns around to find Juleka is the one who helped her. She asks whey she did it but all Juleka responds is that it's what she needed.

From there Lila just starts noticing small random events that stop her from her lies but still help her. Like one day she lies about having had a big extravagant breakfast or something when she actually just forgot her lunch at home, only to have a random apple appear on her desk. Lieing about being up all night doing something for charity when really she's been busy doing the homework from the days she missed, and just having a coffee waiting for her. Small stuff like that.

She just confronts juelka again and again Juleka's response is that she's giving Lila what she needs. They continue like this, Lila just trying to watch Juleka and her just doing these random acts of kindness and helping Lila out wven when she lies to seem like she's ok. This leads Lila to just taking the time one day to stop and ask Juleka if she wants to hang out and Juleka accepting. Little by little Lila finds herself lieing less and less since juelka sees through them all anyways. They get to the point where they're close enough fkr Lila to ask juleka, what she meant when she said she was giving Lila what she needed.

Juleka responds that she was doing just that. She saw that Lila needed someone in her corner who didn't give two shits about the lies and would support her with what she actually needed rather than what she wanted, no fans, no enemies, just someone to see the real Lila and offer help even when she's too prideful to admit it.

Idk. This came out a little vague and messy but there you go. Tried my best. The short version is basically that juleka is such a massive Cryptid that she knows everything that's going on and decided that instead of fighting Lila she just wanted to give her someone that would help her no strings attached, and then the way Lila responds to this and eventually falls for the girl that saw the lies, and cared enough to push through anayways.
