My acitw kinda hot take, is that I don’t want Cooper and Julian to end up together. Not because I don’t like them together, or I think they are a bad couple. It’s just it would be so thematically beautiful for them to not.
acitw is all about change (I mean it’s in the title, it’s what the first paragraph is about LOL), it’s about how things change, and sometimes you don’t even realize it unless you’re looking back. Kurt throughout acitw realizes that he’s changing, and that maybe Blaine isn’t the right person for him. Not because somehow Sebastian might be, but because Kurt is now a different person from the person Blaine fell in love with, they grew up, and it’s nobodies fault.
So like imagine, Cooper and Julian have been pinning for each for seven years. The idea of their old selves. They basically did what Klaine did during the summer, just unwilling for seven years. They love who they once were. And of course they will still care about each other, but maybe just not in that way. Maybe after all these seven years, they just aren’t who they once were, and that’s okay. And then they finally get closure on that coffee shop meeting. Idk
