What an interesting meta you wrote @raggedyblue about PAPRIKA (not to mention the spicy additions from @sagestreet here :))) and about the characters involved with that sweet and fiery spice, which is apparently missing not just in food but also in booze and tobacco too. :)))
In TROTB, Sister Agatha gets bitten by Dracula in Budapest and it is here, where (probably) the dream about the voyage to Engalnd starts ... the one with no paprika on board. The combination of Paprika and Budapest instantly reminded me of the old song about Julischka from Budapest who has a heart full of Paprika. :) That song is from the operetta Mask in Blue (Love story with obstacles which ends well).
