very, very, very sad that my dog is getting old. having his first health difficulties. I want him to grow old with me and it's extremely tragic that his life will only be a fraction of the length that mine is. he's been my baby boy since he could fit in the palms of both of my hands and he sleeps between my partner and I every night. he's been the best dog I've ever had and I'm so lucky that we get to spend our precious few years together.
Cannot stop thinking about the fact that when you confront Dorian's father while trying to romance Dorian you can fully admit in front of a Tevinter magister that you, the Inquisitor, had sexual relations with men right after pretending you don't know what "the company of men" means and I think that's beautiful
after playing a male Lavellan I have one thing to say and it's holy fuck they robbed us of bisexual Solas
That's going to be a very weird and personal take but I'm happy that DAO/DA2 choices don't matter in DATV, and that even most of Inquisition doesn't because:
1. Most of the character stories from previous games are pretty much resolved and I genuinely even hoped they'd retire Varric so my best buddy would for once not be tormented.
2. After all these years I genuinely don't remember what choices I've made or the meaning of them so starting the game with what would amount to a quiz on how well I remember games I played once several years ago would be... Not very fun.
3. Since I don't remember the choices, I'd have to likely replay the games and as a nearing 30 adult with a full time job and a number of other hobbies I really don't want to do that.
I get why it sucks for a lot of people because yeah I've also grown really attached to the characters from previous games. Nevertheless, I'd rather stay open and excited about the new cast and the continuation of the actual cliffhanger from the end of DAI and experience something new rather than go through constant callbacks and cameos (see the Super Eyepatch Wolf video about the Simpsons "The Simpsons is good again").
just heard a person in a podcast refer to the audience as "listener" and if I were normal it would not even catch my attention, however.
