What do you like to do on a rainy day??

I woke up at 6 this morning to feed my baby and I look up to see a spider coming down from the ceiling ready to land on us.

I held a soft blanket up, let it land nicely in the blanket, then I threw that blanket across the room.

I've no idea where that spider is now and I'm afraid it may come back for revenge.

Anyways, back to the question of the day. I like to take it easy on rainy days. Read a book, play some video games with my kids, take a nap, watch my husband play video games and ignore all the housework that is neverending.

Surprise!

Make today full of surprises.  Surprise parties are a lot of fun. Have you been in one lately? Here's a way to send someone a "surprise birthday party" by mail: In a large envelope, enclose a balloon, some confetti, a birthday candle, a flat favor (such as a pack of bubble gum cards or a sticker booklet), and a card that says "SURPRISE! Happy Birthday!" Sign your name or just "guess who". Use two first-class stamps on the envelope and write "Please cancel by hand" next to them. Send your surprise two or three days before your friend's birthday so she can be on time. 

Of course, you can send a fun surprise to your friends, even if their birthdays don't come soon. If you want to surprise your friends, even if their birthdays won't come soon. If you want to receive a surprise by mail, send an envelope with your address and stamp to: Surprise! SEND. Box 152, Barrington, Rhode Island 0286 (Include a note with your name and birthday).
