Wanting to celebrate his 40th birthday by recreating his bar mitzvah, a summer camp sleepover was designed and filled with everything we loved about being 13 in the ’90s. From the legendary Color War to an epic talent show and unforgettable dance parties, the weekend overflowed with nostalgia and joy.
With a magician, food trucks, reptile encounters, live sketch artists, tarot readings, and even mobile massage therapists to close out the weekend, every moment was crafted to spark wonder, connection, and pure fun — an experience no one will ever forget. 🫶

1. Filming in Puerto Rico, perhaps my favorite place
2. Welcoming Gary, a phantom (!) poodle, to our fam 🐾
3. Releasing CIVICS MADE EASY which has now been watched by 3+ million people cross-platform on PBS (and used in the classroom by 40K+ teachers)
4. Trips to Scottsdale
5. Rehoboth Beach
6. Vegas
7. Kent, CT for a Jumperwall show
8. Spending time with fam
9. HS friends

11. KINDERGARTEN friends 🤯
12. Sandy fully rocks the steps alone
13. Night walks with Gary
14. Being cool at Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright)
15. Filming in the actual room where the Declaration and the Constitution were written
