Also I've been listening to the Prefab Sprout song "King of Rock and Roll" along with the video and I imagine if Roger is the frog butler lmao 🐸😂 also the 3 hot dog dancers are cute thanks to @fatal-plastic-kiss for this recommendation.

May 13th is National Frog Jumping Day. This, of course, is not news to residents of Calaveras County, California, which, inspired by Mark Twain’s 1865 short story, "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County", has hosted a Jumping Frog Jubilee the third weekend of May since 1928. This year’s frogs will be hopping for a spot in the Frog Hop Hall of Fame and to beat the world record set by Rosie the Ribiter, who leapt 21 feet, 5 3/4 inches in 1986. Fans of the critters will be relieved to know that all of the little competitors this year will be biding their time in a frog spa under the protection of a welfare policy that presumably does not allow for the kind of handling seen in this undated photograph of Ruth Haig, seen here with two bullfrogs.

Tag yourself I'm the dancing hot dog
Joe is definitely a nocturnal dog. I don’t know whether it’s because greyhound racing tends to take place in the evening or because that’s when all the smells are strongest, but he is like a different dog on our last walk, especially if it’s dusky. Ears up, lots of ‘dressage pony’ walking, quick, just really happy to be out. Earlier today it was really sunny and probably the hottest day we’ve had so far (though it’s only April, so still not very hot!) and I came home to find he’d got too hot lying in the sun on his bed and thrown up a bit of bile. On the afternoon walk he didn’t get far before he was panting. I’m going to have to be careful with him in the summer!

An activity day with kids! Since last week schools are out for summer holidays and most of the kids went home, only the ones who don’t have families are left. They’re all so sweet and learn very fast. Today we made hopping frog and a spinning top. While painting the frogs, things got out of hand a little bit, everyone turned into a Jackson Pollock. We got paint all over the table and on our faces. But on the second part we cleaned up all together, everyone washed their hands and faces and we calmly made the spinning top even tough it was a bit hard.
