Teased at the August's Comiket event, it's now been confirmed that the light novel series "Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou" is going to get an anime adaptation :3

Written by Chuuni Suki with illustrations by TakayaKi, this adventure comedy (and ecchi) series follows a high school class who suddenly finds themselves transported to another world

However, out of his whole class Nagumo Hajime just isn't interested in training in swords or sorcery due to his low stats and Synergist class, earning him the nicknamed "Incompetent"

While on a quest in a dungeon, Hajime falls down into a deep abyss. What will he find in the depth of the abyss? Can he survive? Can he do more than simply survive? And can he become the hero of his own story and maybe even that of the others' as well?

On the anime, the show is being animated by Studio White Fox, with Jun Kamiya (Blue Seed, Kingdom) signed on as Director, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (B-gata H-kei, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou) in charge of the scripting, and lastly Atsuo Tobe (Gekito! Crush Gear Turbo, Ai Monogatari) doing the character designs

The anime is set to air Spring 2018 (Apr - Jun)
