a white linen outfit, your favourite navy jumper on top in the evening, and salt in your hair

poppies and cornflowers lining the roads on a drive through the countryside, the roof of the old convertible open, your hair flying around you in the wind

stress levels slowly decreasing as you tune into your natural rhythm — waking up without an alarm, opening the window and breathing in fresh morning air

escaping the heat into the library, spending the warmest hours of the day writing and sipping iced tea

long, aimless walks and visits to museums you come across on the way

watching the sun set with a group of friends, seeing how it colours the sea and the sky — wondering what the summer ahead has to offer
