headphones in, shades hiding his sleep deprived eyes, and messy bed head from the night before was the current and most often appearance of the male. skating and interweaving masterfully between people on the busy campus. blending in and not engaging with most of his peers was pretty normal for the boy, in fact he only had a few core people in his life. one of them just happened to be in his eye line. sitting underneath a tree was tiny petite brunette female, who was one of parker’s few friends. she didn’t need parker to say much, which he rarely did, he could constantly make her mix tapes of songs he found and she never called him out for his obscure taste. in fact, a lot of their hangouts consisted of the two sitting side by side sharing earbuds while parker sat sketching. stopping the skateboard her did a forward somersault roll landing a little on his friend and mostly under the tree. “tada.” he said pushing his hair out of his face. “you gotta listen to this song.” he said handing her an earbud. grabbing his bag he opened to a blank page and looked up at the girl flashing her a small smile as he watched her listen to the song.
