Oh it happened.... that was porngate. All the facts in that post are true but there's some context missing. And it's very... interesting. There was nothing "accidental" about that it.

For general context, mid/late 2014 there was a lot going on. This happened after an entire week of Harry doing his absolute best to out himself in every single opportunity he had. He wore nail polish, he sang gay anthems... I don't know if newer fans can understand what this meant back there, but it was pretty huge, Harry wasn't the guy we see on media now opening discussions about gender, waving pride flags. In the San Siro concert, he said said "I'd do Niall" following with "Happy Pride", on the very last day of pride month. (And the fact that part was cut from the final version already tells you everything you need to know).

And then conveniently this particular picture showed up on his likes - and I'm not even going to rant about extremely fucked up that was considering the number of minors that followed him at that time. It stayed there for hours. And he finally came online, unliked the picture, liked dozens of pictures of cute puppies and kittens and tweeted the famous:

Everything that followed that was... chaos hahahaha I recommend the big gay war tag for more on that. Especially this post. But at the following concert, he sang "just like HE already owned it" during Best Song Ever, grabbing his crotch:
