...’’And the obituaries continue because this year is all about that. Those were good, simple times when the programs like Tariq Aziz Show were a treat to watch. Since there was no ‘Google’ at that time; many of the questions asked in his game show were as new for me as can be and that lead to a love for reading & research so I could participate in that show while sitting infront of my TV.💫 I recall a trip where in the hotel room; only one TV channel was functional which was PTV as the cable was down due to bad weather. Could’t go outside so had to bear it. But suddenly Tariq Aziz Show was on & I remember saying ‘Shukar hai ab time acha guzar jaye ga’. Tariq Aziz sb; thank you for giving us beautiful childhood memories to cherish & some unforgettable lines like ‘Electra apka hua’ & ‘Pakistan Zindaaaaaabaaad’! You were an essential part of our homes, an icon of our times & your show was one of those few programs which our parents allowed us to watch without any objection!🌹 It’s truly the end of an era!
