BROTP for them: I love her banter with Thorne, I see them as brother/sister almost

What kind of fic I’d write about them: omg one where Cinder is crowned the rightful queen of Luna and attends a ball in her honor back in the Eastern Commonwealth where Kai is now emperor. But since she didn’t grow up as royalty, Cinder quickly gets overwhelmed by the noise and clamor of the ball and sneaks away for some peace and quiet. Kai finds her (he’s always been good at that), and together they curl up together and catch each other up on the latest details of their lives. Cinder then let’s it slip how much she misses him, and Kai is silent for a moment before blurting out “marry me, and we’ll never have to be apart.”

A favorite canon moment: when Kai kisses Cinder!!! Need I say more?

Song that reminds me of them: machine heart by Kelsea Ballerini (it reminds me of Cinder’s life before she met Kai and the Rampion crew, when she was still living with Adri)

A headcanon about them: Cinder misses Kai like crazy during the times she’s stuck on Luna and he’s stuck on earth, so they make up silly excuses just to comm each other :’)

A random AU I think up on the spot for them: since I love school aus...Cinder is the shy girl at university, but she’s really smart. She works as a tutor, and since she’s good at math, Kai, who’s famous at uni for being rich, kind, and handsome, seeks her out for help in passing his math class. Kai quickly falls for Cinder because she’s not like any other girl he’s met before, but eventually he starts to do really well in his math class. So he begins to purposely fail some of his tests and quizzes in order to see her more. Cinder quickly figures this out and confronts Kai about it. He’s a blushing, stuttering mess and finally manages to blurt out “willyougooutwithme” instead of giving her a straight answer. Cinder blinks, then glares, thinking he’s joking. Kai promises he’s not, and she softens, and makes him promise that if she goes out with him, he has to stop failing his assignments. The rest is history, as I like to say ;)

Anything else: I love the idea of Cinder meeting Kai at a bar and having absolutely no idea that he’s the heir to multibillion dollar company. Kai finds this refreshing and they hit it off, and she even trusts him with the knowledge that her leg and one of her hands were replaced with metal after a freak fire in her childhood. Anyways, they both suck at confronting their feelings and so their friends (namely scarlet) shove them into a closet and won’t let them out until they’ve declared their undying love for each other lmao

1. book you’ve reread the most times?

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater! I’ve read it 4 times, gonna go for 5 this year. Man-eating horses, a girl in race for men, a boy who just wants to own the horse he’s cared for his entire life, the ROmAnCe??? Quality read if you’re looking for something perfect for fall (the whole book happens in November).

6. what books have you read in the last month?

Alright, so I’ve only read two books this month and that’s because I’ve just started nursing school so things have been less than ideal for reading. But what I did read I really loved! First I reread I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. It’s a coming-of-age novel set in 1930s England. Then I read Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman. I read it all in one day and it was so good. I think I like it better than the Illuminae Series because it reminded me a bit of Star Trek. Aliens with pointy ears, academy based space exploration program. Plus it’s a ragtag group of kids with the whole found family thing going on. Highly enjoyable. 

I saved this for the end because I figured you’d rather have your questions answered first, but wow I am shook that someone actually asked me something. @juneqparis you are a delight! this is me raising my hands in joy🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
