For the rarepair thing: June and Aradia?

i don't think they would initially click together. if ever. in fact i think june would continue being creeped out by aradia and not understand her or really think about what she's saying at all for quite a bit! it's only after transitioning and going through her whole self-discovery queue and maybe having that mid-20s depression hit that i think she would try giving it another shot. june's avoidance of confronting difficult subjects like death and mortality and fate head-on while aradia finds her zen in staring into the void straight in the eye is such a fundamental difference in approach to life between the two that there's always going to be moments where they're not quite on the same wavelength when talking to each other. but i think with time they'd grow to appreciate each other's different perspectives. especially since they're both very apart from everyone else. thematically. metaphorically. literally. in a sense. not quite lonely. but always a bit far away from everything.
