i can’t say i’m “just” getting tired of the ship i’m stationed on. it’s everything bad that has happened to me starting from May 12, 2012 when i first reported here. it’s starting to pile up causing me to break my patience easily and show unprofessional emotions. there are too many people i’m trying to avoid seeing every day. there are people who think i’m a dirtbag/bitch/annoying/geez where do i stop? I used to be a nice person. Sure a little (a lot) gullible and naive but I wasn’t so rough. Haa I feel disgusting inside and out. I was sweet. I still am if i’m around my friends. Nobody here would guess I like to volunteer in community stuff even tho i haven’t in a long time or that i’m actually happy when i’m off the boat.

I’ve let myself be dehumanized by this ship. i wish i had detached myself away from this bullshit before it got to me but now I’m sensitive to matters that shouldn’t concern me.

Everything is a joke to everyone on this boat. One of our old coworkers died last year (i think?) and now one of my bosses makes jokes about it. Even tho she was the one crying when she had to tell us the news. A couple weeks ago I was taking photos of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response event onboard and people were even cracking jokes there like it wasn’t a serious issue. that’s a scar on my life and i was seriously offended but this other chief just said to me,”Really?” as if i should get over it. I hate this place so much. just 8 more work days and i’ll be gone... that’s my safe line.
