my thoughts below!! 💕 @salamandersocks and i have similar tastes!! i seem to favor:

opening lines that immediately immerse me in a specific emotion or situation (curiosity, anticipation, mystery), and stuff that hints at deeper complexity and "clues ahoy!!"

i also like slightly unsettling lines ("there is a strange boy on the beach who won’t stop staring at her") for mystical stories like the mermaid!au

i also like when really specific or short lines can drop a reader IMMEDIATELY into a specific context; conversely, i like when the first line gives the reader a feeling and the second line gives a location!

i also realize i like throwing characters into emotional / interpersonal conflict immediately lmao ("... the fuck is this?" / "what are you doing here?" / "on the contrary" / "man")

i shall tag a whole bunch of people too, and anyone else who wants to do this!

3) What kind of animal would you bring to school?

A black cat (and a lot of allergy medication).

9) Will you go home during holidays?

I think it depends? Like if I had friends who stayed there, then I might stay there some years. I might go home with friends or they to my house. But I would never rule it out and would love to. :)

17) Will you be a student who gets into trouble a lot?

To be honest, not really. I was not a troublemaker in school (at all). So unless I was in Snape or Umbridge’s class (where I would try and fight them constantly), then probably not.

36) Would you prefer firewhiskey over butterbeer?

Not really. I’m not a big fan of the taste of cinnamon, and butterbeer is actually really refreshing (if made right)

46) Will you see the thestrals carrying the carriages?

At this point of time, no. Unless I’ve seen people die in car accidents and not realize that I saw them die...

49) What would your patronus be?

After looking at this briefly, I’d say the jaguar (based off these descriptions). But I could honestly see a flailing red panda as well.
