Born to Korean-American parents in Paris, Antoinette grew up not knowing what identity suited her best. By law a French-Korean, by heritage a Korean and by the way her parents treated her a Korean-American left Antoinette severely confused as a young girl. Her parents eventually settled back in America during the later years of her childhood and she assumed that of a Korean-American.

Her parents had grown to become fans of the first generation of Korean idols and when Antoinette showed signs of musical prowess they basically pushed her in the direction of entertainment companies by subtly showing her audition sites.

Eventually getting the message Antoinette bit the bullet and auditioned for an entertainment company. Not one of the Big Three like her parents had wanted but MM where she could play an instrument - one of her all time favourite loves. As expected she got in easily and began training for debut.

Training was tough, considering she never wanted to be an idol on her own accord anyway but she persevered and debuted in the female band Harmony. She loved performing and loved all their releases but that changed when Harmony made the shift to become an idol girl group.

While she respected idol girl groups she purposefully went to MM to not be of one herself. She took it as it came, though, and managed to grow to like it - just a little bit.

The first thing you’ll notice about Antoinette is a certain bitterness of being an idol that dances. As she said, she didn’t sign up for it and now she’s stuck with doing so. Her bitterness has seeped into her personality which, for the most part, is rather reserved and calculating. She speaks primarily to her members and a few people outside of Harmony but, beyond that, she’s cold to everyone else.

She can be good fun, but that’s rare and only happens if the situation gives for it. She very much has the aura of someone who has grown up far quicker than they should’ve. Whilst this isn’t necessarily true, Antoinette definitely does feel like an old woman at times.

I like JungNa but I have a hard time, since Jung Ah is like the mom of the group.. There was one fanfic that was really good featuring JungNa. I'm not sure if you read it, but it's the one where Jungah is going deaf. ><
