Have you read "Loaded March" by Footloose. It took me almost a month to read it. It's awesome!

ahahah the likelihood of me reading 1.2 million words is so low i am scared off by anything over 100k basically but i have marked for later xD

Wow this looks super cool! Well done! I still have some trepidations about making my own Aramis hat, but this makes me a little less scared :)

Thanks! It's a lot easier than it seems, you just have to be careful and be willing to spend a lot of time on it! Wool felt is very forgiving.

I'll certainly try! I know he's going to appear eventually in Cathos-verse, but that'll be gen. I've read that Treville starts to get his hands dirty towards the end of the series, so I'm looking forward to seeing what that can do :)
