Lan Jingyi pauses for the briefest second, remembers the sect rule of keeping silence during meals, and decidedly forgoes it. “What?”

“Well,” Ouyang Zizhen continues, “Hanguang-jun always has a lot of admirers everywhere we go, but Wei-qianbei never seems to mind it.”

“Why are we talking about this?” Jin Ling asks flatly.

Everyone is thirsty for Hanguang-Jun but WWX isn’t bothered by that in the slightest so the juniors have a constant nagging question which is: How to make WWX jealous? Turns out you just have to get WWX of the present and WWX of the past in one room together with LWJ.

I thought this was gonna be a simple humorous fic but it’s actually so much more than that. This fic has depth, UST, brilliant interactions between the past!WWX and LWJ, protective!Juniors, and LWJ, who is so whipped for all versions of WWX it’s beautiful. His interactions with the WWX of the past are.. intense xD while MXY!WWX bears witness to it all but don’t worry, “the Impeccable Trust between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian”  tag is there for a reason. WWX of the present is very sure of his husband's all-encompassing love for him. 

TL;DR: Mission: Get WWX jealous 4+1 style. Or, the fic where WWX is jealous of himself!

“The only sin he's committed is that face.” He interrupted, somehow managing to be be both love sick and defensive.

Faced with WWX’s beauty in his original beauty, the juniors suddenly become poets.

SPOILERS ahead but I simply HAD TO put this here for reasons: 

“Transcended mortal standards of beauty alright…" Ouyan Zizhen murmured, staring at his hands.

Wei Wuxian, standing in the middle of the cold pool, black robes clinging to his sinuous body, grinned. His eyes...if Mo Xuanyu's eyes were pretty..Wei Wuxian's eyes..were the light of the full moon shining on cherry blossoms. They were so bright and warm, it gave Lan Jingyi conniptions.

His delicate looking cheekbones, the curve of his jaw, and his eyelashes..how was any of it real.

And how did Hanguang Jun not immediately propose marriage. Did they really wait for a dramatic love story spanning twenty years, fueled with murder, necromancy and mystery when they both looked like that . Hysterically he thought, that if somehow they had children. The child could ascend to immortality based on the sheer beauty of it's looks. Actually were they sure Hanguang Jun and Senior Wei weren't immortal?

Were they sure of anything? Did men have the right to look so beautiful? Were they all cut-sleeves or was the beauty of this couple simply maddening?

And wasn't it unfair..he thought with a dip in his thoughts. That they belonged to each other.

Leave something for the rest of us! He wanted to cry.

But Wei Wuxian was still standing in the water, grinning at them. And in his own body— his smile was absolutely devastating, instead of mildly troubling.

Damn all heavenly officials.

Senior Wei was absolutely, mind blowingly,

Well, let's just say Lan Wangji wasn't ready to be having this kind of conversation either, and his husband had better be ready to pay the consequences for that, too.

Aiya! This brat. Wei Wuxian gives. He tosses in the white flag and surrenders to the gossip of teenagers. What does he have to be upset about? He is a bottom with the sexiest top around, and he is damn, happy about it! But, yes...

“The first time will probably hurt, but over time, accepting gets easier, especially if your partner is diligent in their affections. Lan Zhan can help you better in this than me. I will convince him to speak with you.”

“So—” Jingyi’s voice cracks here, “this kid is Senior Wei.”

Wei Wuxian, still tangled in his own massive robes, blinks politely at them.

(Or: Wei Wuxian is cursed on a night-hunt, and the junior quartet rapidly finds themselves in over their heads.)

There’s an array and a night-hunt gone wrong and WWX gets cursed, finding himself back in his six year old body.

The Juniors get to spend a whole day with kid!WWX and notice how different little A-Ying is from their Senior Wei. Back in the CR, trying to find solution to the curse, LWJ meets little A-Ying. 

Before the curse gets broken, everyone collectively decides to make this a beautiful day for the subdued little A-Ying, and with gentle coaxing in a rabbit-filled meadow, he starts coming out of his shell more and get reassured that the CR are his home.

This fic because is absolutely adorable brimming with tenderness and fluff. Read it for the Juniors interacting with little A-Ying, who steals everyone’s heart, Lan Jingyi teaching him a very useful “what the fuck”, and LWJ being absolutely soft with little A-Ying 💙
