Description

The Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane describes Jesus' intense spiritual and emotional suffering on the night before his crucifixion, where he prayed to God in an olive grove, asking for the "cup" of suffering to pass but ultimately submitting to God's will ("not as I will, but as you will").

Moments from Narinder's life within the cult and how the flock of the lamb slowly altered his role within it.

The arrival of the former god of death was abrupt and filled with new truths; therefore, he initially refused to accept reality. The False Prophet allowed him to be, even giving him an old shirt from his original cult. This made it even harder for him to integrate with the other cult members (of course, it wasn't as if he wanted to at first). His only role was simple: cleaning, adding to his humiliation.

Something that continued for a while, even in other aspects of his life within the cult, is that he ended up being the chosen target of several violent members, so he ended up in the infirmary a couple of times. Violence is not accepted in the cult, but it continued to occur in various ways nonetheless.

I FINALLY FINISHED! Me being me, of course it ended up being longer than it was originally, so I decided to divide it into parts. As I said before, it's not a comic per se; each page is a different moment, so if the continuity is confusing, it's on purpose.

A great demon-stration!

JOKE-OGRAPHY: 1. This cartoon spans two Bible stories, which both feature Jesus sending His followers out to surrounding towns to heal and preach. First, in Luke 9, He sends the twelve apostles. Later, in Luke 10, He sends another 70 non-apostle disciples (or 72, depending on the translation). They're all given the same instructions and come back rejoicing in the works they were able to do in Jesus's Name, especially the casting out of demons. 2. Old versions of this story are split between numbering the disciples as 70 or 72. The translation remains up in the air today, and both are valid for different symbolic reasons. One reason 70 is significant is because it represents the number of supposed nations in ye olde Bible tymes, making this passage about Jesus calling the whole world to evangelize. One reason 72 is significant is because 72 disciples plus 12 apostles equals 84, which is 12 (the number of tribes of Israel) multiplied by 7 (a number used to symbolize completion). 3. In this cartoon, when the apostles and other disciples return to Jesus, Peter gushes about being able to cast out demons, since Jesus's Name forces demons to obey them. To give Jesus an example of this, Peter asks John for his staff, and John obeys. Peter then gestures to John, implying (in hilarious jest) that he just made John obey him because JOHN is a demon.
