I just got a ficus bonsai tree and a juniper bonsai tree. I LOVE these little trees. They bring me great joy and peace when I look at them and care for them. They make my world more beautiful just by existing with me. I am very thankful for them.

Juniper bonsai, part of my friend's collection in Virginia.
I got a bonsai kit as a present (my mom and brother got them too) and yesterday was her first pruning/wiring! :0
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I am excited for this new plant adventure.
The kit came with the tree, a pot, mesh for the pot, traditional japanese bonsai pruning shears, wire, bonsai fertilizer, dirt, and instructions.
I also bought myself a bonsai 101 type book from half price books.
I need a name for my new lovely tree friend 🤔
