a few weeks back, i was having dinner with a friend and she mentioned something we ladies rarely talk about: our period. it is a taboo topic for many because ew, but she mentioned a "box" (you know, the latest retail trend where you pay a monthly fee and receive a package of goodies?), juniper box, which is timed to arrive just before aunt flo comes to town. it is crammed full of both the mandatory stuff -- you can choose from a list of beloved brands, select a preference of pads or tampons, and any other must-haves for that worst time of the month -- and some welcome additions meant to help you stay sane like tasty teas and chocolate (obviously). additionally, as the brand is still new and somewhat small, the customer service is on-point; each member is assigned a "bff" who you can text or email at any time to receive fast assistance.
admitted, juniper box is a bit pricey at $28 per month, but your lady time ain't goin' anywhere anytime soon, so you might as well make the best of it, right?
