Honestly? She is confused, since she doesn’t understand romantic love, At all but a bad vibe from them so she strongly protective, whether that’s is the faint smell of blood, from each of them. She would be on high alert when they’re near by but would semi-trust them since Jaune seems t lo trust them

Funny thing.

Predators like wolf, tigers, fox and dragons, won’t attack humans. Becuase if you’re injured, you can't hunt prey or run. So they’ll consider the pros and cons then choose not to Becuase they do want to risk it

Herbivores (like juniper) do not care, if they’re going down they’ll take you with them. Basically like a moose.

Let’s put it like this, the “hunters” want the “prey” but the herbivore sees them and immediately starts trying to take them down. After all they see? They attack. And won’t hold back. But the “hunters” won’t risk injury, Becuase they can’t “hunt” the “Prey” or run (towards jaune). So the “prey” is safe. When the herbivore is around.
