What's your favorite femslash Junko ships?

I love this trend of giving me a character and then just letting me ride out my favorite ships. It means some repetition but thinking about ships I love multiple times is just a price I'm willing to pay. Eventually I should make some sort of masterpost. But That's A Lot Of Work

Mahiru...something REALLY compels me about the parallel relationship they have with their talents and the roles they fill. The love a camerawoman has for her muse. The love a model has for the person who captures her image. The person who envisions the propaganda to the person who films it, the person who films the propaganda to the one who stars in it.

Sayaka!! I could talk about them a LOT, but the tl;dr is Life in public eye + what we do for fame + what we do for beauty + connection to The Audience (love from Sayaka, hatred from Junko) + fame as part of a group vs in isolation and the different ways that fucks a person up + child stardom + varying levels of Willing/Happy To Kill. They could make each other worse ❤️

I can't tell you why Junko/Hina endears me but it does. Potential toxic romance involving Hina for once? Inherent rarepair nature? Hard to say. They're cute though

There is something very sweet about Junko, despite not caring about anyone or anything, still accompanying Hina to meet Teruteru to make sure he isn’t about to do anything creepy to her in UTDP. Normally the Mukuro-as-Junko scenes have very different vibes from the actually-Junko scenes, but this is one of the only ones where very little changes, and I think it’s nice to know that Junko does genuinely have a line she draws, and that she chooses to protect Hina within that line.

While some of it is Junko putting on a front, these two do really, genuinely seem to get along well in UTDP and Summercamp. It’s almost like Junko lets herself relax on the despair front? Like, they just talk to each other like normal people. That’d be boring for Junko to do nonstop, but having a gay little breath away from her torturing herself and everyone around her is…sweet.

Chiaki/Natsumi

The character who ultimately redeems the SDR2 class (Chiaki) vs the character whose actions directly begin their fall to despair (Natsumi)…the beginning vs the ending…the two ways loss can influence a person…now THAT’S what I call PARALLELS!

Another of the rare Chiaki ships where Chiaki is the Relatively Normal One and Natsumi is the Gnashing Biting Clawing Etc One. Natsumi is to Hiyoko as Chiaki is to Mahiru in this case. Which is to say, Chiaki does not fix Natsumi. But Natsumi can be swayed from her Evil Deeds TM when Chiaki quietly brings her attention away

Also a really interesting potential hatemance between Chiaki “I refuse to allow any more murders!” vs Natsumi “I am very much capable of and willing to call a hit on this girl I don’t like, and the only thing stopping me is literally being murdered myself.” These two have very clashing regards for the sanctity of human life
