Junkrat’s tears leave his face cleaner than it’s ever been, and Mako is sure that there’s a metaphor there somewhere. There’s not much he can do about either issue - the tears or the metaphor - so he settles for something in the middle, reaching out to put a hand on Junkrat’s shoulder and saying curtly, “Gonna be okay.”

Junkrat hiccups and wipes furiously at his eyes, and already, Mako can see the maniacal gleam returning, even though he still sounds sad as he mutters, “Sorry, mate.”

“Gonna be okay,” Mako repeats, and Junkrat snorts at him, gives a short giggle, and he knows that will have to do.
