FamiCom Reverse Club: The Koufuku Police Station

time to get to know our buddies working on the case with us!

(they are, in fact, not our buddies)

Junko Kuze

unlike her canon self, junko is a laidback, carefree person with a scarily lenient work ethic for someone working on a murder case every other day. a bit of a jokester, she spends most of her time poking fun at the others on her downtime, dice especially out of all of them. (not to mention taro's arrival amplifying that...)

though despite how relaxed she typically is, there's something about this case that's making her seem a little tenser than usual...

Daisuke "Dice" Kamihara

much like his original self, dice serves as a total 180 to junko's personality. he's an anxious workaholic, caring WAY too much about everything (compared to dice not really caring about much on the surface). he's a terrible shot, but a generally good business partner otherwise and balances out junko's reckless decisions generally nicely. he also tends to call taro "boy detective" (it does feel weird working with someone 5 years younger than you), which has rubbed off a bit around the office (and especially on junko, much to taro's distain).

"Heyyy, Kami! Late to the scene again?" "P-Please excuse me, partner! The traffic was bad, and I forgot my briefcase, so I had to go back and..." "*sniff sniff* Ohh? Kami, have you been drinking again? How naughty of you! Boy, you're lucky you're assigned to me, 'cause if it was anyone else you wouldn't be able to pull this off! Hehe!" "Awh...come on, please give me a break..." "Harrumph. There they go again..."

Kimiharu Kamada (not pictured) is a little simpler of a swap; he's a grouchy old man, to put it bluntly. though he is a good detective, and has known utsugi for a long time...

next up should be information on emio & makoto, or the tragedy of the kuze siblings... or fukuyama?

I have been playing the full game of Emio The Smiling Man Famicom Detective Club. It's quite the layered murder mystery. But there are two characters- Junko Kuze and Daisuke Kamihara - that I feel would be this meme.

EMIO - SPOILERS

There’s something exceedingly hilarious about Kamihara with a gun at the end. Like Junko was SO confident in his aim being just shitty enough not to kill someone on the spot when she needed him the most.

Get you a lady, that has unshakable faith in your cringe fail ways, like Junko relies on him. ~<3
