Hank sighed, heavy and annoyed, attempting to not roll his eyes at the android high up there. ❝Fucking hell.❞ How much did he like Connor? How much did he care about him? To fucking much apparently. Taking a step forward Hank grabbed hold of the scaffolding, contemplated his life choices, and pulled himself up the first level. He was not fit enough for this, not a climber normally, and if he fell he would die. Yet, he pulled himself up the next level and looked around to try and find another place to step and grab. If he lived he was making Connor pay for lunch tomorrow.
❝Look, I know you think this is the only option--❞ he's breathing heavily already, hands sweating from the exertion and even slight fear. He's a significant height up already that if he slipped he'd be hurt if he fell. ❝But you won your freedom, your people are their own people. Clothes you have to buy now and if you can't there are shelters for that.❞ One of his hands slip and he quickly leaned to the right as he gripped the other scaffolding tighter.
This was how he died. Talking to android Jesus on a fuckin' scaffolding. ❝Fuckin' goddamn it fuckin' Connor--❞ a breath, deep and shaking and he moved to grab the scaffolding to keep climbing. ❝When I fucking get up there--❞ not best to threaten the android. ❝I can take you to one of the shelters.❞
