It's time! All packed up and ready to go do a full-blown #junkyardrescue on #TheBomb 🤘😎🤘 I'm not just aiming to drive it up on to the trailer anymore, either. I'm going to try and drive it right off the property and load up at Drew's workshop. I figure if Finn and Freiberger can do it on @roadkillshow with some of the junk they work on, I'm a fricken shoe in! 🤭 #roadkillburn The #hoonchild and I are picking up the #cartrailer from Darra this afternoon, then we're leaving for #MontoQLD at #sparrowfart tomorrow morning. Ferg sent the spare Strommies at the start of the week but they haven't arrived yet - thanks for nothing once again #ozziepost 🙄 - so I shot down to @repcoaustralia this morning and grabbed the #fuelmiser carby rebuild kit, just in case. Checklist: Four good wheels and 'fresh' tyres and 20 brand new wheel nuts. 5-l oil pack and new filter. 10-litre 'fuel cell', 3-m fuel hose and an electric pump. The big arse battery out of #Bevan and a handful of spare fan belts. Two trolley jacks and jack stands. More cans of #brakkleen than one guy should ever need. I've still got to figure out how to fit the #family in there, but at least I've got the important stuff packed in 😬 so we're good! I wanted to take the compressor and my air tools too, but my generator isn't big enough to power it (or the welder) so I'm leaving all that stuff behind.
