OK, I don't have the Sniv in school snippets ready but I felt like posting a real breif snippet of Robotnik and Snively. This is right after Naugus throws Snively out of power and some of that involved Naugus slicing Snively's throat with his claw.
The second short snippet is something random I wrote yesterday and don't really know if/where it would fit in but whatever.
"Heh. Looks like you've been put back in your rightful place." Robotnik grinned as he leaned back in the chair.
Snively held his plate out to the Securitybot. "Heat this for me."
He never understood how eggs cooled off so quickly.
"Lovely bandage. Too bad he didn't just take your head off."
Snively sipped his coffee and bit his toast. The bot returned his hot eggs.
"You can't have expected your reign of incompetence to last, Snively. I'm surprised it has lasted this long."
The wounds under the bandage itched, but Snively refused to acknowledge it in Julian's presence. "Keep flapping your gums, Uncle, and I'll have the Securitybot pop you like an overfilled boil." He finally met his kin's eyes across the table. Uncle kept grinning. Snively knew how terrible he looked. The sedatives always made him look haggard and sleep-deprived. "I may be temporarily...restrained, but I am still above your wretched station."
"Don't fool yourself. We both know I will be the next to rule again." The fat man's eyes glowed. "Perhaps if you grovel sufficiently enough, I'll allow you back into my graces."
In his stomach, that red rage curdled like vomit. As with the Medibots and with Naugus, Snively felt it rising up, felt his control slipping. It was like all his dams had failed in his months of rule, like his muscles of passivity had atrophied without use. He nearly screamed. "I'll never grovel to you again, you bloated fucker! I'd rather rot in the gutters!"
"I can arrange that! But before I put you there, you will beg me - you most assuredly will beg me - for mercy!"
"Oh, you mean I'll beg to your fat corpse after I hang it out for the Freedom Fighters to piss on?"
Julian lunged over the table, grabbing him by the collar. He dragged him across, sending plates and cups flying. Then he slammed his kin's back against the hard table edge, gripping both arms, leering down with that putrid breath.
The Securitybot raised its arm, laser cannon focused on Julian's head. Snively wished he'd made them with lighter armaments. They'd both be struck. Julian ignored the robotic threat, red eyes burning into blues.
"Oh ho, let's hear it. Let's hear you plead right now, Nephew."
"No! Let me go, you ugly oaf!" Snively struggled, but the grip was unyielding.
"Let me hear it." That laviscous coo in his voice. Julian squeezed harder.
"No!" Snively sucked in a breath and expelled it in a wad of spit directly into Julian's left eye.
"You pathetic runt. You dare?!" Both eyes blazed. Uncle began to squeeze mercilessly tight. That grip could pulverize his bones into dust. Snively squirmed in pain, drawing in panting breaths. "Stop it! L-l-let go!" He snapped his head to Uncle's flesh arm, sinking his teeth in as deep as he could.
Uncle shrieked. Snively tasted blood, felt his bones begin to creak under the crushing force...he screamed. Blast it all! He sucked in another breath to order his bot to fire.
Then Julian went limp like a ragdoll. His hands released and swung listlessly at his sides. Snively wrenched away, scrabbling around the table's edge and back against the Securitybot.
"Slave. Have I not told you to keep your hands to yourself?" Naugus stood in the doorway, claw aglow.
Robotnik's body jolted painfully but he was silent.
"Small one, are you well?"
"I'm fine." Snively stared at the scattered remenants of his breakfast. It didn't matter. He wasn't hungry anymore.
"If you please, go examine the surveillance until I get back, and check for anomalies from last night as well."
"That's Julian's job." Snively's lip curled. His arms ached to the bone. His head hurt.
"Julian will be indisposed for a time." When Snively didn't move, Naugus snapped his claw. The small man felt the soft prickle of static electricity tingling his body.
"Yes, Naugus," he mumbled, slipping from the room. He didn't bother listening at the door. The sweetness of Uncle's pain wasn't enough today.
He made it halfway to the control room before he slumped against the wall, his hands to his face.
He hurt. Everywhere, inside and out. He slouched there and cried.

(2 random shit)
"You've all but guaranteed you'll never have a place in my empire, Snively."
He laughed. Nearly screamed. "I've never had a place in it!" He flung his arm out, eyes burning. "Where would I fit in your end goal of turning everyone to metal, holding every life in your hand? You expect me to believe I'd be there by your side in any form other than a robotic statue?"
Robotnik's mouth twitched in a smile. "Only if you've become robotic inside, Nephew. As long as you have the tiniest spark, I will relish the chance to crush it."
"...but why?"
"Because you are mine. You signed yourself over to me. That spark? It is mine. And you will eventually give it to me."
Robotnik stared out into the desert with the same air as when he gazed down at Robotropolis' steam and gloom from on high.
"But in the meantime, you...you'll rule over a dead planet?" Snively had always shied away from Uncle's endgame. How could he fathom it? Robotnik the last one standing over a silent world, perhaps scoured of even the scuttling bugs, the most basic amoeba. Perhaps he would then enshrine himself in metal as well. The final laugh to wind that could no longer hear.
A soft dark chuckle, like a rollersnake gliding sideways through the sand.
Honeyed with poison. "Mobius is not the end of the universe."
He turned and Snively stepped back, his hand on his wrist, ready to activate the shield.
"Oh no no no, Snively. It's just the beginning."
A/n: lol Buttnik is delusional. I give props to @yessir-rightawaysir because they wrote a cool diary Sniv fic where he muses about Robotnik's final goal. Because I honestly am always so focused on Sniv I don't get too much into Robotnik's motives.
Well, here's some more of Sniv's miserable life lol. Just a small scene with his dear ol dad.
“Come on, Snively.” Bunnie shook her head slightly. “Yer daddy couldn't have hated you.”
He smiled without mirth. “Just because you can't imagine such a thing doesn't mean it doesn't exist.”
“Ah just can't imagine a parent hatin' their kid.”
“Because you...people (he had very nearly slipped and uttered the derogatory 'animals')...live in an idyllic fantasyland. All of you Freedom Fighters had the perfect little families. Loving mummies and daddies. Well, until Robotnik and I came along, I suppose.”
“So what are you saying? You Overlanders all had dysfunctional families and nobody loved anyone? Ah guess that explains a lot. Ah guess if that's the case, we ain't ever gonna be able to understand each other.”
He grunted. “No, not all Overlanders. But my family, yes.”
“Well, yer mama must've loved yer dad. Must've loved you.”
She must've seen the doors slam shut in his eyes. The darkening. Maybe she understood something about him after all, because she veered away. “Fine, ya don't want to talk about that. Ah won't make you. Not that Ah could.”
“My father didn't have any affection for me.” He moved the conversation even further away from Mother. “He wanted the best education for me merely so I wouldn't embarrass the family name. Julian was doing enough of that, according to Father.”
“But he didn't like Robotnik talking to you, right? That must mean he was lookin' out for you.”
“He just hated Julian. He just...wanted to control me. That's all.”
“Ok. If you say so.”
His mind wandered back across the years of Father's disapproval, his put-downs, the subtle and not-so-subtle jabs about Mother's death. Was there ever a time Father displayed any affection? Did love ever break through that stony facade?
“Perhaps there were a few times,” Snively finally said. “That I wondered...if maybe he felt something for me. But there was never any defining moment. So, with a lack of overwhelming evidence, I'm going to tell you the same thing. My father did not love me.”
He remembered one time. The last time, really.
He was thirteen years of age and had been living in Mobotropolis for two months.
The day was balmy, beautiful. The climate of Mobotropolis was just on the edge of tropical, more humid and warm than his homeland on the Great Steppes. There it was flat and dry and often windy. An imperceptible dust seemed to coat everything. Hovercraft and windows always seemed dull. White clothing - like that of Julian's new Warlord uniform - would quickly look dingy, no matter how clean.
He far preferred it here. Of course the Mobians would hoard the good land for themselves and resign the Human scum to live out in the wastes.
Despite the caress of warm breeze, he had exiled himself inside the apartment that he and Julian shared. Sitting in a window seat, an unread book in his lap, he looked over the gleaming eggshell buildings far below the King's palace. He could see the gardens he would usually frequent with his books.
Yesterday, Uncle had relayed news from the monarch. Bad news. Snively was to be enrolled into the school of the furred rabble next month.
So, here he was, sulking.
I thought I would be Julian's apprentice. But no, I simply am being transferred from one ridiculous academy to another. Like a toy, like a thing overlooked and inconsequential.
His rage for Uncle accepting this command from the King simmered inside him.
A knock at the door startled him. He decided to ignore it. But the noise didn't cease. He grumbled and went to answer. A dog stood dressed in the cerulean and white livery of the King's guard.
Snively raised his eyebrows. "Julian isn't here -"
"Colin Kintobor? The King has requested you."
For a wild moment, Snively imagined the King had heard his disparaging thoughts of the afternoon. That's impossible. But perhaps he's decided to revoke my refugee status? Gnawing his lip, he followed the silent guard.
He was led to the throne room.
"Your Highness?" Snively kept his eyes down, his overgrown bangs hiding his gaze further.
The King gave a small chuckle. "I've been on a blistering vid call. My ears are still ringing."
Snively didn't speak.
"Your father is on the line."
The boy flitted his eyes up. His limbs felt numb suddenly, his mouth dry.
The king may have chuckled, but his face was stern. "I've been assuring him we didn't receive you by nefarious means."
Snively said nothing.
"He thought perhaps we'd abducted you." The Monarch clarified to his silence, although Snively had deduced that.
"It is a tenuous situation. To keep the child of my enemy? I shouldn't do it."
Snively swallowed hard.
"Speak to your father. Consider your true desires, Colin. Remain here? - for I will allow it. We are already at war. The hostility is already over the tipping point."
And perhaps having me here is insurance... But that would only work if Father actually cared about the bird in your hand.
"Or return and be granted full safe passage."
"No," Snively said quickly. "I came here, I want to be here... I want to be with Uncle."
The King merely gazed at him. His eyes calm.
"It took him two months to bother contacting me!" Snively's voice went into the squealing register he despised. He fought to get it under control. "That...that says it all!"
"Things better said to him." The King's eyes softened just a shade. A soft light blue, much like Snively's, but warmer. Summer skies instead of glacier ice. "Speak with your father, Colin." The King moved towards a heavy door adjacent to the throne room. His study - a room clad in dark wood, decadent furniture, artwork of real paint rather than hanging vidscreens, shrouded in the earthy odor of longweed.
Atop a desk Snively could see a computer, the glowing rectangle of a screen, and a face there.
I could hang up on him. The thought was tempting. But that wouldn't deter Father. He'd call back and King Acorn would get angry.
No, you must face him. Snively sucked in a breath, let it out, then approached the desk.
Father appeared to be in his study at the Ministry. The lights were dimmed and he sat back from the screen. Behind him, the lamplight haloed orange around his fiery hair. It was more grown out and unkempt (by Father's standards) than Snively had ever seen.
Father's voice lashed out, that dark tone that promised a good thrashing with the belt. "Snively. There you are, boy."
The son said nothing. He pressed his back firmly to the plush purple upholster of the chair. No cringing, no huddling, sit straight!
Father was silent too. Waiting. The waiting stretched. Snively dug fingernails hard into his thighs.
"You've thoroughly disgraced yourself," Father finally said, "And you may take pleasure that you were successful in causing me some embarrassment."
Snively said nothing.
"It's time to come back home. Your prank's worn thin and if you apply yourself, you can catch up with your missed studies."
That was hovering dangerously close to a compliment. Snively felt a sneer tug his lips. "It's not a prank, Father."
"Snively, enough. I've arranged with the King to safely escort you across the border."
Snively stiffened even more in his seat. But the King said I could stay here. "No, I'd rather not."
"The border is getting dangerous. Both sides are defending it aggressively. You can't dilly-dally when I've pulled strings to get you through." Father sighed, rubbed at his face. Snively knew Father relished the feeling of sleep-deprivement, of stress. It made him feel potent, meaningful.
"I'm not coming back."
"Pack whatever meager things you took in your little tantrum. When the King is back on the line, we'll arrange the time tomorrow."
There was a silence in which Snively knew meek subservience was expected. Father sat, his face shrouded in the darkness.
"You haven't asked about for me for two and a half months." A dry accusation, with the edge of a knife.
"The first night, I thought you might come home. I gave it a day, then contacted Julian. For once, my brother was honest. He told me you were there."
"You knew I was here? The whole time?"
He hadn't imagined Father frantically searching for him, tearing out his hair in panic. But he'd imagined some kind of distress. But no, Father hadn't been. He'd been happy for his son to be gone. Until now?
Father shrugged. "I thought to let you get - whatever this is - out of your system."
Snively's lip curled. "Why now, Father? Has it become too hard to explain my absence to the public?"
"I don't intend to let my son become an uneducated delinquent. If you don't care about shaming my name, then at least care for your own."
"Oh, but I am getting educated here." Snively leaned back, sneering even more deeply. "Why, I'm to start schooling with the darling Mobians very soon."
Even the darkness couldn't hide the flare of rage in Father's steel-grey eyes. "Don't be foolish, boy. Your place is here, not with those animals!"
"I'm nothing but a mutant mongrel, though, Father." Snively let his voice slide into saccharine sweetness. "Why, I'm hardly even human, according to you. Perhaps I'm exactly where I belong."
The visage of Father was still. Snively almost believed he could've been carved from stone.
"I've only been harsh on you for your own good," the statuesque man finally said. "I give an inch, you take a mile. You're like Julian in that way."
A warm sort of feeling moved across Snively's chest. To be compared to Uncle!
Another flash of steely eye. "That is not a compliment, Snively. Julian only sees you - and everyone - as a tool. You might have some of his wiles but... But..."
This was interesting. Father's voice was growing tight, a rubber band stretched.
"...you need to come home. This isn't an argument."
"I'm not arguing." Snively sniffed. "I've already told you - I'm not coming back." He jumped as Father slammed his fist on the table.
"Enough! I will come and collect you myself! I'm not letting you stay with The Monstrosity. And those animals, their days numbered? You are my son. You belong here!"
A shiver went down Snively's spine. The tightened rubberband was acquiring cracks. It was breaking.
For a moment, he reconsidered. What am I doing here? I don't want to school with the Mobians. Julian - 'the Monstrosity' - hadn't told the King that Snively was meant to be his assistant? Maybe he ought to go back if Uncle didn't intend to mentor him. The sting of disappointment bit once again.
He looked to the stony figure on the screen, met Father's eyes like chips of flint. A descendant of Medusa, sapping the will and life away. He felt himself wilt, like so many times before under those eyes.
I shall have to pack my bag, he thought, his stomach a-twist. Return to the drab halls of St Quentin's, but perhaps it won't be all bad - at least those students aren't crawling with fleas -
Those steely eyes followed the slouch of his shoulders. “Have you come to your senses, boy?”
Snively shifted his gaze past Father, gnawing at his lip. Dust motes floated in the backlight; he saw the fuzz of it on Colin Senior's uniform. Snively remembered the view from the Ministry of Justice, one of the highest buildings in the city. Snively often rode the elevator to the top where he leaned over the railing and gazed outward. Megalopolis perched high on a plateau. The Great Steppes and their dusty, scrubby land laid out far below for miles.
In the recent war, the armada of Mobotropolis was kept at the bottom of the plateau. The dulled metal of hovercraft, tanks, warbots, rows and rows of war machines...They had seemed so vast and intimidating back then. But compared to the armada of the Kingdom of Acorn? It looked like an army of toys!
He shook his head at the thought, and Father scowled at the motion. His stomach flipped queasily, but he fought to keep his voice steady. “Yes, I'm feeling quite sensible, Father. That's why I'm telling you... I'm not returning. Why would I? You're on the losing side.”
He could almost see the bomb counting down inside Colin Senior's brain. “What did you say, Snively?”
“You should call off the war. You aren't going to win. The Mobians...they've got better tech. Bigger numbers. It'd be foolish for me to go back.”
“As if you know anything about my armada, Snively!” Colin Senior snarled, spittle flying from his mouth. “The animals might have more bodies, but they are stupid and soft creatures! They only dominate because we never stood up to them! They don't know a thing about war!”
Snively gave a smary shrug. That kind of blasé movement never sat well with Father.
“You think you're clever, but here you are swallowing Mobian propaganda like a good little traitor.” Colin Senior spat in disgust. “All this time I thought you were lazy in your studies. Maybe you're just stupid.”
Snively sat back in the chair, folding his arms over his skinny chest. His hair swept over one eye. “You're not exactly wooing me back to your side, Father.”
“Enough!” Father roared, slamming his fist down. Snively jumped. “Disgusting little mongrel, ignorant and inept little mutant as you are – you are still coming home. Now go gather your things and have your King come back on the line.”
Snively didn't move. “I wonder if Miriam would approve of you saying such things to me.”
Colin Senior went still. Until his voice cracked through, like a croak. “Do not say her name.”
“I can say her name if I bloody well please.” Snively's voice rose in temperature, hissing like a kettle near boiling. “I'm over you laying claim to her, like she was yours and yours alone. She was my mother. And I imagine she would hate that you drove me to do this. Run away from home and live amongst animals.”
“Your mother would hate that her own son killed her.” By contrast, Senior's voice was the artic wastes.
“I'm sick of that tired line.” Snively feigned boredom, even as the words stabbed him – like they always did. Like they always would. He pushed back the chair and stood up. “Goodbye, Father.”
Father leaned back heavily into his chair. Some of the backlight spilled across his face. Bags under the eyes, more lines around his mouth and across his forehead than Snively remembered. Admist the fiery red, he saw a few strands of blonde. Father was greying already?
“Arrangements are made. You must come back soon, before the border is uncrossable.” Father's stony voice was rough. Like his vocal cords were tightened.
Snively shook his head. Took a few steps back.
“You have one parent left, Snively. Come back to your own.” Father leaned forward again to engulf his face in shadows. The tightened vocal cords shook. “Come back home.”
Snively stood, heart pounding. He tried to see through the dark. If Father said it, just one word of love, just one sound of sorrow...? Snively would break. He ached to hear it – but dreaded it in equal measure. Do I really want to go back?
But Colin Senior could never give into the softer side of life. The man of iron, with eyes of flint – he could only be hard and cold. The softer half of him long turned to ash in the remnants of Earth. “Decide, now. Come back home or die in the rubble.”
So, Snively decided.
He turned and left the room. No last words. No look back. It was the last time he spoke to his father.

A/N: hopefully that wasn't too boring. I like Sniv and Senior Asshole angst lol. My next scenes to edit are some of Sniv in Mobian school, Sniv's escape from Robotropolis (I posted the beginning of that a while ago), and a cute wittle Sniv and Bunnie scene. Whoo.
Well, I thought I'd get back into posting some random Snively scenes. Honestly, I don't think I'll finish this rewrite but at least I have some stuff to keep posting.
Anyway, so the gist of this scene. Naugus has taken over leadership of Robotropolis at this point. He's been civil to Snively though and protects him from his uncle due to Naugus's contempt for Robotnik. King Acorn has been their prisoner for a while, and prior to Naugus taking over, Snively had planned to use him as bait to get Sonic and Sally. However, once Naugus took over, Snively decided out of spite (and to get Robotnik in trouble) to let King Acorn escape. So in this scene, Naugus finds out. TW for violence. And bad art. Heh.
“Useless cretin! I almost could believe you did this on purpose – that is how incompetent you are!” Naugus fired another crackling red bolt into the writhing man.
Robotnik let out a scream, his hand clutching at his blubbery chest.
Maybe his non-existent heart will give out. Snively pushed his hand harder to his mouth, but the giggles spilled out despite his efforts.
Robotnik's eyes rolled wildly towards the sound. "Master," he managed to croak. "It was him, it was him!" A jolt of red magic made him screech.
Naugus lowered his claw. "Why do you say this, Slave?"
"There was a glitch." Robotnik's voice was on the edge of a sob. "It's happened in the past. Cell doors glitching. Prisoners getting out. I always thought it was a fluke."
The giggles died in Snively's chest as the wizard's orange eyes settled on him.
Robotnik panted for breath, groaning as he sat back on his haunches. "Snively did it. He must have."
"Why would he?"
"I wouldn't," Snively kept his voice steely. "Why would I let Mobians escape? Especially the King?"
"You've always been soft on them," Robotnik snarled. "So many times, I saw it in your eyes. You didn't want to interrogate them."
Snively gave a scoffing laugh, rolled his eyes. "Please." Naugus was still appraising him and he couldn't help but shiver. "You're pathetic, Julian! Just trying to distract from your failure!"
The wizard nodded. "Indeed."
"Master, he's angry at me! He's angry at you!" The obese tyrant cringed as the claw raised again.
"No. Your incompetence allowed the King to escape." A blast of magic hit the man on the floor. Julian screeched and Snively swore he could smell burning hair, but Uncle's mustache looked fine. He often wondered...how much of the magic was just illusion?
Snively tried to resist a grin. He was unsuccessful. This is what you get for fucking with me, he mouthed behind Naugus's back.
The wizard ceased his torment, and put a wizened hand to his beard. "But. It is curious. That a door should just...glitch. Not just any door, but the one holding Maximilian and just when his kin was looking for him?"
The grin dropped as Naugus pivoted to face Snively.
"Don't you find that rather convenient timing, Small One?"
"It's just a glitch." Fuck. He hoped his damn voice wouldn't glitch. "They happen. The timing just happened to be unfortunate."
"Mmm. Perhaps. Or perhaps Slave's accusations are true."
Snively put an impatient edge into his voice. "What do I have to gain by letting the King go?"
Naugus smiled, gesturing loosely towards Julian, still hunched there on the floor. "The joy of watching your uncle suffer. I heard your impish giggling. You are angry too, that he tried to banish you into the Void."
"I don't have to create situations to make Uncle screw up. He does just fine on his own!"
Naugus clicked his claw and magic softly spun around it. The small man narrowed his eyes.
"Don't you dare raise your magic to me, you -"
The wizard laughed. "Dare? Small One, you are sorely mistaken about who is in charge. I thought I made this clear before."
Snively swallowed hard. Panic crawled in his gut. No, no. Don't let him see you sweat. But the familiar fear was sheeting his eyes, tunneling his vision, removing every bit of moisture from his mouth. "Apologies, Naugus! But I've done nothing, I swear -"
The claw raised. Red magic wafted his way, slow and insidious. He took a step back, his hands up like it would help.
It's an illusion, it's an illusion, it's not real, remember, it's not -
The magic wrapped him like the hand of a lava giant. Burning. He screwed his eyes shut, chanting inwardly. It's not real, it's not real, it's not real!
For a moment, the burning seemed to fade. His thoughts beating it back like cool water. But then the red increased, glowing through his eyelids, too much, and his body began to believe it. You're wrong, it said. It's real and it's burning!
His knees hit the ground and he let out a whimpering scream. "Stop it, Naugus!" He bit his lip, clutching his torso. You're not afire. You're fine. He wasn't hot. He wasn't burning. For a moment, the pain receded.
Naugus chuckled. And the blessed moment was over - a wave of firey pain took his breath away.
The mage calmly spoke. "Did you glitch the doors?"
"No," he choked. "Stop it!"
More magic engulfed him. He was in a cloud of it. Breathing in felt like acid. He gagged. Razor cuts opened all over his skin - or it felt like it.
"You are lying, Small One. Did you open the door?"
The pain increased and he moaned in misery. His thoughts of resistance went up in smoke. "A-a-all right. Yes. I did it!"
He panted for air as the pain disappeared, like it had never existed. It hadn't, he thought, even as his mouth continued to ramble. "But... but Julian still let him escape! That's not my f-f-fault!"
"That is true, but your childish tricks got him free of the cell. The fault is with both of you." He looked to Julian, who had regained his feet. "As such, I have been a bit harsh on you, Slave."
Robotnik scowled, watching as Snively got to his feet, brushing off his uniform.
The small man sniffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "And yet, had it been a true glitch, the outcome would've been the same. Julian's fail-"
"Enough!" rasped Naugus. "I warned you about your tricks, Snively!" His eyes settled on Robotnik and the bigger human cringed. "Allow me to remedy this, dear Slave."
The wizard gestured from Robotnik to Snively, his shark teeth glinting. "You have one minute to avenge yourself. Death excluded."
Snively's body stiffened. Blue eyes shot wide.
Robotnik stood dumbly, until Naugus chuckled. "Slave, do you choose to show mercy? 57 seconds remain."
Snively gaped at Naugus in shock. He's...he's throwing me to the wolves...? But then Robotnik unfroze, and Snively moved too late to dodge the oncoming beast. Robotnik drooled, rabid, his hand grabbing the back of Snively's shirt and lifting him upwards. He just as swiftly threw him down again, his red boot colliding hard into Snively's ribs.
Snively rolled away, scrabbling to his feet. Robotnik slapped him hard. He staggered, feeling blood gush from his nose. "Securityb-" His sentence was lost as another slap rocked him from the other side. Stars flared in his vision and his knees hit the ground.
Julian dragged him up, panting in his perverse delight. His face came close. Foul breath and stiff mustache hair. Snively tried to wrench away, but even diminished, his uncle's grip was iron.
"You pathetic, worthless gnat. Beg for my mercy."
"F-f-fuck off!" Snively struggled, his eyes going wide as Robotnik swept him up in a headlock. With both hands free, Julian chuckled as he gripped Snively's wrist, the robotic hand clasping two of his fingers.
"No..." Snively again tried to wiggle free, his breath coming in hysterical gasps. Fuck no. He knew what was coming. "Naugus...!"
"30 seconds," was the wizard's response.
"Beg," Robotnik hissed in his ear. He twisted the fingers back.
Snively whimpered, kicking. "N-n-never, you bloated oaf!" He screamed as both fingers snapped. "Naugus...p-p-please!"
"Beg me, Nephew. Me." Robotnik whispered in his ear, his tongue touching cartilage. His body quivered in pleasure, jiggles through fat. "He can't save you. He'll never be able to save you..."
"19 seconds."
Julian threw him down. "Lick my boots, toad. Your future depends on it."
Snively bit his lip, sobbing behind his grit teeth. He shook his head, one hand groping in his pocket.
"Lick them!" Robotnik screamed.
"G-g-get stuffed, f-f-fatty."
A hard kick to the gut took his breath and voice away. His bladder voided itself, and he curled like a fetus. Robotnik roared, and Snively's finger found the remote in his pocket. He pressed its button, and Securitybot #002 reacted instantly. Flying to Julian, and cuffing him hard. Robotnik landed five feet away.
The small man struggled to his feet, attempting to flee. Robotnik lunged for him, raising his metal arm to ward off the Securitybot.
Snively froze in misstep. A red glow surrounded him, and he levitated. "Time is up," intoned Naugus. Robotnik snarled, caught in a similar standstill. "Issue any more blows, Slave, and you will answer to me."
A long breath expelled from Uncle, until a twisted smirk touched his lips. "Yes, Master."
Naugus lowered his claw, and Snively's boots touched ground once more. He slid down onto his haunches, gasping for breath. "Small One, your defiance is admirable. Turn it to our enemies. I will have no more tricks from you. Do you understand?"
He swallowed hard. Dizzy from the pain. "Yes, Naugus," he croaked.
"I'm afraid you have misspoke, little man. Yes, what?"
Another hard swallow. "Yes, M-m-master."
"Very good." Naugus sighed. "You may go to the medical ward for the remainder of this day and all of tomorrow. Now, leave my sight!"
Snively nodded, beckoning his bot to follow as he stumbled from the room.
-
Outside the command center, he implored his metal friend to carry him to the infirmary. This was becoming way too common lately.
Once there, the Medibots swarmed like bees around him.
"Back off, I'm not dying!" He snarled and stripped off his soiled clothes, throwing them in a heap. The head Medi beeped indignantly.
He climbed into the bed, resigning himself to their examinations. As their cold hands probed, his breath hitched and he put his uninjured hand to his face. Absurd! Crying again.
"Get a grip," he sniffled, wiping blood and snot away. "You act as if you've never been thrashed before."
But it wasn't the beating. It was the withdrawal of the wizard's protection. The sound of ice cracking under his feet. The vibrations still in his vocal cords...'Master.'
He watched the medibots prep the IVs. The wizard would be true to his word - Snively would be left alone for a day and a half. He could request sedative and extra pain relief. Let himself fade out.
...and awaken to what...?
'He'll never be able to save you...'
The IV needle stung his hand. The medibots were already prepping the sedative. They remembered his tantrum from last time.
He huddled in the bed, drawing the thin sheet over his naked body.
If I stay...I'll die here. There's nothing left....until I can kill them both, or the Freedom Fighters do...
How long will that be? Another 11 years?
His broken fingers were swollen and disgusting on top of the sheets. He swallowed hard and shivered, hiccuped a sob. Then he drew his arm over his face, scrubbing away tears and blood. His eyes, watering and sorrowful, hardened.
"Medibots. No sedative."
The head Medi accessed him. "It will relax you and help you rest."
"No need." Relaxing was for chumps. "Double the dose of nanites."
With that many nanites, his fingers would heal in a week and a half. His other injuries would be mere memories.
"Sir, a double dose will cause uncomfortable nausea, unsettled sleep and urinary pain."
"I don't bloody care! Do it!"
"Yes, sir."
He turned his gaze to Securitybot #002. His only friend.
Friend...to the end. He sank back into the fluffy pillows. He had the remainder of today to rest and recuperate.
And then, there would be no rest.

A/N: I've got most of Snively's escape from Robotropolis written so maybe I will post that next if anyone's interested. Considering I don't see myself finishing this rewrite, I don't feel the need to keep all the 'plot' (what little there is) hidden. Lol.
Scrounging up some more Snively scenes! Here's a couple of Snively and Geoffrey because I like asshole rivalry.
Scene one: gotta set a little background. In my original old fic, on a mission to Robotropolis, Geoffrey mistakenly thinks Snively is working with Naugus/Robotnik and reports it to King Acorn. Of course Geoffrey isn't worried about the truth either. Then without even verifying, King Acorn drags Snively outside and tries to hang him. It wasn't long before I looked back at that scene and cringed hard - I hate how I wrote King Acorn like a psychotic turd. So in the rewrite, I made the hanging a vigilante act from Geoffrey and his friends. They get caught and Snively is saved. But they aren't arrested because King Acorn thinks it will make them martyrs and increase attacks on Snively. Instead, he tells Geoffrey to never try that again. Snively begrudgingly agrees to keep it quiet but he also decides to send a little warning to St Stink. Whoa, long set up! Sorry!
(while cleaning Rotor's shed)
Silver winked. A sharp shard of metal. A razor blade! Snively waited for Rotor to turn his back, then seized the blade, sliding it inside his tracking cuff.
He cleared his throat. "I have to urinate. That coffee went through me."
"There's a bush out back," Rotor said.
"Rather uncouth. Explains the smell." Snively twisted his mouth and Rotor blushed.
"You can use my hut, I guess."
"The tracker will go off. I'll just run to Bunnie's. Won't take long."
The walrus nodded unhappily. "OK, but you should come back after. Sally'll be mad if you disappear on me."
"Now why would I do that, my dear Motor?" Snively bowed grandiously, his tracker arm pressed to his chest. "I'm having such a delightful time with you." He straightened up, still keeping the arm to his chest, as he backed out the door.
(Later one night...)
A weight settled on his bed, light and delicate. Geoffrey's body beheld the sensation, translated it into his dream as a lithe squirrel body, firey hair dangling onto his brow.
"Blimey," he hissed. "Been waitin' a long while to feel you on top of me. Gonna give it you real good-"
She put a finger to his throat, or maybe a claw. His eyes flew open and he nearly yelled. No luscious Princess looked down. No, it was a set of cold blue eyes, a smirk curved under a pointed nose.
"S-S-Snively...!" He made to jump up.
"Ah-ah-ah. I wouldn't move if I were you."
The object against his throat was real. Something hard, thin. Sharp. He went still.
"Mmm yes. You feel that?" The smirk deepened. "Makeshift scalpel. Blade isn't as durable as those in Robotropolis. I won't be able to do too much cutting with it. But..."
The blade dug in a bit deeper. Geoffrey felt every muscle lock. His heart fluttered.
"... I've only got to go about two inches. Depending on whether I go for the jugular or the carotid." Snively raised his eyebrows. "Don't fret too much, my musky friend. You're fucked...but at least you'll go quick."
Geoffrey clenched a fist, slowly creeping his arm away from his body.
Snively leaned down further, jamming the blade harder, shimming it sideways. A bright, immediate sting took the skunk's breath away. "I said not to move, you bloody pissant. You think I don't know how to use this?!"
"They'll...they'll know it was you!" Geoffrey croaked.
"Of course they will. And by the time they find you, I'll have disabled this pathetic tracker and be miles away."
Geoffrey stared, desperate to see a bluff. Snively's eyes gave nothing away.
"They'll catch you. Kill you."
"It's bound to happen anyway. But I'll die with the pleasure I took out one more of you filthy beasts..." Snively leaned closer, his smile going soft, his eyes dreamy. "There's a reason Robotnik put me in charge of interrogating the low level rabble. He likes his grand games, but he doesn't like the base shit. The blood. The mess. But he knows...I don't mind it...one bloody bit."
Geoffrey felt Snively's other hand travel his neck and then the Overlander raised it to his view. He saw his own blood smeared on the white skin. Gently, Snively wiped the red over Geoffrey's mouth.
"Decadent, isn't it? I've missed that taste."
Geoffrey wanted to curl up. Close his eyes and go back to sleep. He couldn't see a bluff. "... What do you want?"
"Ah, we've reached the negotiation stage? That was quick." Snively smacked Geoffrey's cheek lightly. "It's simple. It's in my best interests - for now - to stay here. And you know I didn't do anything on that mission. So it's very simple. You and your mangy friends are going to cease the vigilante antics. No more attempts on my life. I can take a beating now and then, we all know that." A wide, glittering grin.
The skunk was struck by the two-faces of the small human. The meek stuttering act he threw at Bunnie and Sally, the pitiful eyes and hunched shoulders and shy mumbles. And this. This blasted monster from Robotnik's army. Not a robot, not a grunt. Second only to the Fat One himself.
"So..." Snively narrowed his eyes. "Deal?"
"The...the King already told me to lay off with that," Geoffrey's voice rasped, but he didn't dare clear his throat. "You bloomin' psycho."
"Me, a psycho? You strung me from a tree. And believe me, it's only my living situation that's stopping me from cutting you open right here, Skunk." Snively took a few steps back, the scalpel held at the ready. Geoffrey could see now...it was a razor blade attached to a stick. "So, you be good and don't give me a reason to sneak in here again, hmmm? Because I will get you, Geoffrey."
A small chuckle. "That's fair."
"Sure thing, mate," he growled. "But next time, when you really screw us over - you better believe I'll be hanging you dead."
Oh, how he ached to attack. But he stayed, for some reason. Snively's creepy eyes locked on him, as he stepped back and back, until he vanished out the door like a ghost or a bad dream.
In the morning, when Geoffrey awoke, he swore he'd just eaten something off. There's no way that little shit snuck in here and threatened me.
---
Then he looked in the bathroom mirror and saw the red stain on his throat.
Scene two: Geoffrey is tired of Snively stealing his cigarettes.
Snively pulled a cigarette out of his pocket.
Geoffrey nudged Sonic in the ribs. "Don't those look like my cigarettes? I mean, they must be."
The Overlander gave a smary smile. "Doctor Quack prescribed them to me. To help my nerves."
Sonic shrugged. "I could care less where he got them. They stink. But if it stops him from being such a whiner, then it's cool with me."
Snively flipped up his middle finger as his other hand pulled forth a match.
Geoffrey shook his head. "What does that mean, anyway?"
The human struck the match on a nearby tree, setting the cigarette alight. "Fuck off, fuck you."
Geoffrey smirked, watching as Snively puffed on the cigarette.
As the smoke settled into his lungs, he frowned. Something felt...off. He exhaled and his eyes went wide. His lungs tingled and he coughed - and it was like a fire blazed within his chest, roiling up his esophagus. Putting a hand to his throat, the cigarette dropped as he coughed again, blood rushing to his face.
Sonic stared at him. Snively put one hand to the tree, nearly retching as the fire burned in his lungs.
"Blimey!" Geoffrey exclaimed. "I had no idea Doctor Quack liked the same Dragonfire-weed blend as me! He's tougher than I thought!"
"F-f-fuck," Snively croaked, bending over as snot and tears fled his face. "I... I can't breathe."
The skunk came over, clapping him on the back hard enough to put him on his knees. "Heh. You think I was gonna let you keep stealing from me? How those lungs feeling, you little shit!?"
Sonic laughed. "Nice one, St Stink." The two Mobians chortled as they watched Snively, but as the human continued to gasp and retch, Sonic grew concerned.
"Yo, Needlenose. You OK?"
Snively shook his head, clutching a hand to his throat.
"Little drama queen." Geoffrey grinned. "Feel the burn."
"Maybe he's allergic to whatever that is, " Sonic said.
The skunk snorted and kicked Snively in the ribs. "He's fine. Playin' it up like he always does."
The hedgehog looked doubtfully at the blood-red face, wet with a disgusting mix of mucus and tears. "I dunno. I'm gonna take him to Quack. Just don't get your snot on me, Snerdley." He scooped up the Overlander and zoomed away. Geoffrey spat in disgust. His fun was always ended too soon.
-
"Yes, he does appear to be having an allergic reaction," the feathery doctor said cheerfully. He rifled through a basket of syringes. "Why, another minute and his throat might have closed entirely."
Geoffrey entered just as Quack jabbed a needle into Snively's arm. The human coughed miserably, his eyes closing as his breathing evened out. Doctor Quack left the room with a mumble of retrieving something or another.
Sonic crossed his arms. "Not cool, St Stink."
"Give me a break. You were laughing."
"Yeah, until it turned out you tried to kill him." Sonic's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Again."
"Maybe he should quit stealing. Then he wouldn't be here. Wouldn't have been where he was before, either." The skunk mimed hanging from a noose, his tongue lolling out. "Ain't my fault he doesn't learn. There's a reason Robotnik beat him up all the time."
Snively grabbed a handful of the sheet he sat upon, using it to mop his face. "You filthy fucking animal. You want to keep trying me? I'll carve your insides out like a pumpkin."
Sonic gaped a little at that threat, while Geoffrey lunged forward, gripping a handful of shirt and roughly pulling the human from the bed. "Oh yeah? Then let's go, you gods damned little freak. Let's go, right now."
"Ahem." A female voice came from the side. Sally stood, her hands on hips. "What's going on here? I saw Sonic carry him in."
Geoffrey released his hold, stepping back.
She looked between the three men. Doctor Quack reentered, handing Snively a cup of creamy pink liquid.
"Drink that, lad. It'll soothe your windpipe."
He sipped it as Sally glared.
"I asked what was going on."
"Nothing," said Geoffrey. "My new blend of cigarettes didn't get on with him. I mean, I never gave them to him... So you know what that means."
"He put some kind of hot stuff in them," Sonic said. "Then Snootly was coughing and couldn't breathe."
Sally sighed and rubbed her nose. "Geoffrey, why would you do that?"
"It was a prank." The skunk scowled. "Because I'm over finding half my stash gone after I spend a night rolling them. But you're all right with the little prick stealing."
"I'm not all right with it." She gave Snively a dark look. The small man shrugged and sipped at his concoction. "You know, Snively, I think I'll have you spend the rest of the week with me. I'm on greenhouse renos."
"But you hate working with me." A displeased scowl twisted Snively's lips.
She tossed her hair, an evil edge to her smile. "And you hate working with me even more."
She turned and left. Geoffrey whistled. "What a punishment. Getting to work with Her Hottiness. You always manage to get away with everything. But one of these days...you'll slip up too bad for her to pardon."
"One of these days...you'll have an unfortunate accident. And then you won't have to worry about me anymore." Snively smiled, slow and malicious. "Or anything else, old chap."
Sonic wanted to rub his nose. He dodged between the skunk and human. "Man, you two really are annoying. No wonder Sal gets headaches."
"All you men give me headaches." They startled to see Sally back in the doorframe. "Just so you know, Geoffrey, I've added your hut to Snively's forbidden locations. Your cigarettes shouldn't go missing anymore. Right, Snively?"
"Of course, Princess."
She left and the Overlander turned big blue eyes on the doctor. "Doctor, you'll surely prescribe me some cigarettes, won't you? I have a terrible case of nerves, you know."
"Well, I don't see the harm..."
Again, the Princess was back in the doorway. "And Doctor, giving those to Snively is unacceptable. He's not to be using drugs. Understood?"
"That's not fair!" Snively snarled. "Why am I being punished?"
"Seriously?" She put her hands on her hips. "Because you're a liar and a theif!"
"Whatever." Snively rolled his eyes as the squirrel, skunk and hedgehog departed, leaving him with Quack. He downed the rest of the pink concoction, and crossed his arms sullenly.
"How's the throat, lad?"
"Better." Snively said. He uncrossed his arms. "Thanks."
The duck looked at him a moment, and then winked. "Just between you and me, I don't think the Princess needs to know if you find a few cigarettes in your pocket."
A genuine, startled smile spread on Snively's face. "Really?"
"Don't be seen by her or Geoffrey. Yeah?"
"Of course."

Scene three : Lil fight as Geoffrey, Snively and Bunnie are on a mission in Robotropolis
"Mate, I know how you can make Bunnie happy. Them skills you acquired with Robotnik?" Geoffrey grinned nastily, leaning close to rasp in the smaller man's ear. "Made the Big Round Guy really happy with that slick tongue of yours."
It was the last straw to his frazzled nerves. A haze of red settled over his vision. Logistics didn't enter his mind. Scrawny Overlander versus brawny Mobian? No, Snively simply lunged, his fist landing a surprise blow into Geoffrey's gut.
"Oof!" Geoffrey staggered back, clutching one arm to the spot, the other forearm lashing out to block Snively's next attack. He gasped for breath. "You stupid little shit!"
Snively found himself slammed back against the wall, two black hands on his shoulder. The skunk's knee came up, attempting a shot to the balls. Snively twisted, taking it to the thigh instead. He sank his teeth into the meat of Geoffrey's arm.
"Bloody lunatic!" Geoffrey wrenched his arm away.
Snively launched off one foot. The top of his skull impacted the soft underside of a jaw. Geoffrey gagged, staggering back once again. His breath hissing, Snively reached for his boot and the makeshift scalpel. I'll cut his fucking intestines out, I'll piss into his corpse!
Geoffrey lunged.
A body of metal and flesh came between them. The skunk stopped up short; Snively ceased his attempt for his illegal shiv.
"Y'all stop it, right now!" Bunnie growled. "What in the hoo-haw are you two doin', fighting like this?!"
"Crazy bugger attacked me! Little shit can't take a bloomin' joke...it's pathetic!"
She turned and beheld Snively, a surprise smirk on her lips. "Well then, you ought not to be messin' with him, Sugah. Snively's a wild lil thang."
"Heh. Wild in bed too?" The skunk sneered nastily.
"You better watch it. Ah hit harder than him, you know." Bunnie brandished a metal fist.
"So uptight, the both of ya." Geoffrey straightened his hat and crept to the end of the alleyway. Bunnie and Snively followed. She threw a wink to him, whispering.
"...are you wild in bed, though?"
(A/N: Oh that Bunnie hahaha.
Snively's cheeks flushed. She chuckled, eyes sparkling in the low light as she strode ahead of him. He swore she was putting extra sway into those metal hips.
Violent nut Sniv is fun to write. Lmao. Realistic though?
Hey, what do y'all think of me using Geoffrey in this story anyway? I know he has Ken Penders' stink on him lol and I was almost thinking to just make a dupe character of him. But I honestly don't really care that much. It's just a question heh.
Anywayz hope these were enjoyable and thanks for reading as always :))
Well, it's been a while, so here's another Snively scene for ya'll. Just a little bit of Snively's childhood.
Oh yeah, I'm learning Spanish so I just tossed some random thing in there. Lol
"How come you don't use your real name?" Tails twirled in the water.
"I don't like it."
"What was it again?"
Snively lifted one foot from the water, watching the silt slide from his toes. "Colin."
"How come you like Snively better than Colin?"
"I wouldn't say I like it better. But it's the lesser of the two evils."
"Colin isn't that bad," said Tails. "My real name is Miles...now that's just dorky!"
"No, it's fine. It has sophistication." Snively wiggled his toes back into the mud. It felt nice.
"What's sophistication?"
"Class. Polish." Snivey rolled his eyes. "I realize Sonic is your idol, but must you emulate his vocabulary incompetence...?"
"I got no idea what you just said." Tails splashed one of his namesakes into the water, sending spray Snively's way.
It honestly felt nice too. He wiped his face. It might be pleasant to simply sit down, let the water flow up to his chest. He'd probably be covered in sand afterwards. Not so pleasant.
"I think you should use Colin." Tails nodded seriously. "Snively sounds like a joke. Like...sniveling."
"...but isn't that what I do?" Snively smiled crookedly. Hazy memories surfaced like the glittering sand beneath the water.
-
He was nine and his father was the Minister of Justice. Father attended galas and parties and meetings and other boring things. Usually, Colin Jr stayed home. Tonight, his father decided to drag him along.
Snively was not pleased. He'd have to don his suit and tie, those stupid shiny shoes that hurt his feet...and be around droning, pretentious rich people for endless hours.
At least the food was usually good.
Father stopped by the leather armchair where his son was lounging with a book.
"Hijo, tienes que hacer listo." (Son, you have to get ready.)
Snively sneered without looking up. "Yo no entiendo." (I don't understand.)
Father insisted on his enrollment in Human Multicultural Languages. It was another class to nap through. Father liked to grill him with random phrases in various languages of Earth. (Of course, random phrases was all Father knew.)
When Snively had asked to drop out, his father had gone on a tirade.
"We must preserve our heritage," he growled.
"But we're from England."
"The heritage of our species! The glory of Homo Sapiens!" Colin Sr tilted back his head arrogantly, his fire-hued hair gleaming in the chandelier lights. "Our people are meant to conquer the stars, boy!"
Oh Gods. Snively resisted an epic eye roll. It'd only earn him a slap.
Father loathed the fact that Common Mobian was prioritized over Human languages on all levels of schooling. They were both fluent, naturally. When your species was only 3% of the population, you had to assimilate or remain insular, and that was not an option when the majority controlled all of the resources as well.
"You do understand me, Snively! Now answer properly!"
He sighed and struggled for the words. "Um...Que hora hace lo empiezar?" (What time does it start?)
"It starts at seven. You have an hour to get ready and you look a mess." Colin Senior fisted a handful of his son's shirt, drawing him close. "You had best not disgrace me, Snively."
Snively cringed. "No, daddy."
-
The gala was some stupid fundraiser, something to do with raising money for the Overlander cause - the group that believed they shouldn't bow to the Mobians.
War was on the horizon, but such things were surreal to a nine year old boy who had his hands full with a critical, loveless father, schoolyard bullies, classwork and studies.
Snively managed to snag a glass of wine from a passing server. He sipped from it, brushing his hair from his eyes. Oh, it made him feel burning and tingling. He liked it.
The air was thick with the scent of rich hors d'oeuvres, silver confetti, gold balloons, clashing perfumes. He scratched at the red tie at his neck and sat at an empty table.
Look at this silly lot. He eyed all the men in their suits, the women in their fancy dresses and overdone makeup, all the breasts pushed up and begging for attention. A server paused and offered him delicacies from her silver tray.
Oh yes. Small weiners wrapped in brioche, pinky-sized shrimp, and tiny snack cakes!
"Thank you, I will." He took the entire tray.
"Excuse me, young sir-" she huffed and he aimed a finger across the room. There was Father, shaking hands and blabbing with other stick-up-the-ass bigwigs.
"Oh, would you like to tell my daddy on me? He's right there."
She blanched, hurrying off.
He smiled in bratty enjoyment, then sampled the plate. Well, perhaps it was worth being dragged here. But after a while, he was full and bored, and this dreck of a party was still carrying on.
I wish Uncle Julian were here. He sighed, leaning back in the chair. Uncle would have so many witty and funny things to say of all this! Snively giggled. He imagined Uncle's commentary in his deep voice. Look at this group of overstuffed turkeys, my dear boy. Ah, has that woman over there smuggled melons into her brassiere?
I wish Julian was my father instead...
He tried to squash the frequent, sorrowful thought and stood, restlessly wandering the gala. He ended up passing near his father, still chatting with other pompous arses. People of wealth and influence.
"Oh my," cried an elderly woman showing too much skin. "Is this not your son, Minister?"
"Jolly right!" Another man, decked out in Overlander military garb, pulled Snively in by the shoulder. "This is the lad."
"Ah yes." Colin Senior beamed with false pride. An equally fake hand of affection patted his son's other shoulder. "My darling boy, my golden child."
"What a fine-looking young man."
Snively resisted a sneer. Think that's the first time I've heard that one.
"My pride for him knows no bounds."
"And what is your name, son? Named after your father, are you?"
Colin Senior nodded, drawing his son closer, his hand kneading on the back of his neck. You'd best not disgrace me.
I hate being named after this clod.
I hate how he's pretending to love me.
The golden child smiled sweetly, his blue eyes sweeping the group. "Oh yes, sirs and madames. My name is Colin as well...but honestly, I far prefer Father's nickname for me."
Father's hand tightened on his nape. A warning.
"Oh, and what is that?" The elderly woman leaned forward.
Colin Jr beamed radiantly. "Why, Sniveling Bastard, of course. Snively for short."
The old woman gasped, and all the assembled eyes stared at his father. Colin Senior sputtered, red creeping up his brawny neck, as he fumbled for an out.
"Um...ah...heh...ah...the boy is such a joker. Such talent for wit."
There was forced laugher, and Snively slipped away as his father desperately tried to save face.
He retreated to the bathroom, where in the stall, he bent over and laughed until tears streamed down his face.
-
He shed a different sort of tears later in the privacy of their manor home.
It had been a while since Father had thrashed him with his belt, and he struck especially hard tonight.
Snively curled painfully in bed, sniffling and wiping tears. His rear and thighs burned with swollen welts...but inside...he glowed.
I can't wait to tell Uncle about the look on Father's face. He giggled softly, gingerly rolling to his other side with a pained gasp.
Yes, he would be sore for days...but he was full of appetizers and the darkness of pleasurable spite. Welts would fade, but the memory would never lose its sweetness.
-
The recollection of Daddy's humiliated, fumbling face made him chuckle. Colin Jr had fully embraced his hateful nickname from then on, stabbing it like a needle into his bastard father.
He sloshed his hands in the cool water. "No, I shan't ever use that name." He let his hands still, seeing his pitiful reflection staring up. "Snively is who I am."
Tails twirled again. "Maybe you can make up your own name! Something you like!"
The small man grinned. "All right. Snively the Grrrrreat."
"Yuck! No way!" Tails splashed more water his way.
----
A/N: So that's my take on why Snively sticks with his nickname instead of given name. He really should make something else up though hahaha. (Also, I just realized I didn't make it clear, that Colin Sr only called his son 'Snively' (and variants of) in private.)
(Also Humans being 3% of the population might be an overestimation. In my storyline Mobius and Earth are seperate and the Overlanders immigrated from Earth to Mobius over a period of several hundred years until they ended up blowing up their home planet. Bummer. Lol. Anyway, it's a minor detail since that shit's in the past, right?)
Snively fic shite! Just a silly little scene, this is how Snively gets stuck having to cook for Antoine (a brief scene I posted earlier) I still have to decide what Sniv's going to cook. Lol
Sniv is training with Antoine (or watching him train).
"Clear away, Snipley! Hi-yah!"
Antoine barraged the bag with furious kicks and punches. It swung wildly back and forth.
"I see you are impress-ed. After I was nearly eaten by a group of terrible hyenas, I began to train seriously!"
Snively wasn't sure what surprised him most - Antoine landing most of his blows, or a gang of cannibalistic Mobians.
He decided on the former, and smirked.
Suddenly Antoine whacked the bag with no warning, sending it careening into Snively's gut. It knocked him down and he gagged for breath.
"Ow. Watch where you're hitting that!"
Antoine pulled him up, his sharp teeth inches from Snively's ear. "I have not forgotten...your mistreatment of the escargot..."
Snively pulled away, one hand on his stomach as he laughed. "Are you serious?"
"Oui." The fox glared daggers.
Another laugh. "I must say, that was the most amusing interrogation I've ever done."
Antoine whacked the bag again, and Snively shoved it away, still chuckling.
"To think, I didn't spill a single drop of blood...didn't threaten you in the least...and you nearly caved in. I've had children more resistant than you."
The bag came his way again, hard. He calmly stepped back. Antoine's fur was bristling now.
"Oui? But did you not say you never question-ed zee little ones?"
"Ah, I didn't. That was rhetorical speech. If I had questioned childen...they would have..."
"Menteur! Monster."
It wasn't the bag coming at him now, but Antoine. Snively dodged a punch, only to get kicked on the left side of his jaw. He stumbled, got socked in the chest and knocked on his rear. His recently healed fingers twinged painfully.
Still the foppish fox advanced. The small human sprang up, exhaling like a bull. "No way...no bloody way am I going to get beaten up by the likes of you!"
Antoine was more agile, but Snively's pain tolerance was far higher, and he shrugged off a whack to the face - and consequently bloody nose - to get in close. He grabbed the fox by the shoulders and threw him down.
"You little frog. How's this for training?" Straddling the fox, he struck him repeatedly in the face. Antoine sputtered, trying to shove him away.
"Fuel, terrible fuel! Get off!"
A blur of blue came between them, knocking them apart. Sonic came to a stop, one hand on each chest. "Yo, yo, what's going on here?! Training getting a little too serious, huh?"
Antoine growled. Sonic looked over at Snively and the blood oozing over his lips. He shook his head. "Sally's gonna be mondo angry that you two are fighting like this."
Antoine brushed off his uniform. "Oui. Perhaps I got harried away."
"Uh, that's carried, Ant. Look, lunch is ready. Why don't we all cool off and have a snack?"
Snively brushed his arm under his nose. "Sounds splendid. Do you have any toast?"
"Uh..." Sonic gave him an odd look. "No, but I guess you could make some-"
Snively looked sidelong at Antoine as they began to walk. "Good," he sneered. "Because I do love a thick slab of toast slathered with margarine."
"Hey!" Sonic yelled as Antoine lunged at Snively again.
----
Sally handed Tails a chilidog.
“I can't wait until I can eat this in one gulp, like Sonic does!”
She shook her head. “That's not something to aspire to! One of these days, Sonic is going to choke! Besides, it might upset your tummy-” She trailed off as Sonic came blazing up. Under each arm, he held two buffoons.
He dropped Antoine to the ground and Snively followed a second later.
She set her hands on her hips. “What is going on here?” She took a closer look as Snively stood up, indignantly brushing off his uniform. He had dried blood crusted under his nose. “Sonic!”
“These two were fighting,” he said. “And I don't mean the training. Real fighting.”
Antoine snarled. “The fuel... he shows no remorse! No egrets at all!”
“That's regrets...” Sally sighed. “Don't we already know that about Snively?”
“I'm right here...” The small human said darkly, but his eyes were gleaming in a manner she didn't like. “And he's not talking about my vast crimes agaisnt Mobi-anity. He's talking about my culinary cruelness.”
Sally groaned. Behind her, Tails sloppily made himself another chilidog.
“Antoine...are you really still going on about the slugs...or whatever they were? You have to drop it.”
“I will drop it...when Snipley prepares a proper meal. To make up for his deeds.”
“With or without poison?”
“Snively, stop it.” Sally put a hand to her face, musing. “Ok. That sounds fine, Antoine. With Bunnie supervising...we'll have Snively make you a nice meal. Right, Snively?”
He scowled. “No.”
“It wasn't a request.”
“With saliva, then,” he hissed. “Got it.”

A/n: hey Sniv's a good cook when he tries. Lol. Anyway I'm trying to finish up a little flashback of Snively in Mobian school and another of he and his father. *is lazy*
Snively fic shite. Another brief scene, this one with some good ol' Robotnik abuse when Sniv's still in Robotropolis.
"Robotnik made you lick his boots, did he not?"
Snively blushed. Had Naugus seen that from the Void?
"He found it amusing to relay stories of his cruelty to you." The wizard frowned.
He remembered the times, more frequent in his younger years. Robotnik shoving him downward, while leering with the various accusations. Your tone was too insolent. You asked too many questions. I don't like that look on your face. You suggested too much - implying you know better than the Mighty Round One. And sometimes, I caught those nasty little comments you made under your breath.
Pain wasn't the only effective deterrent. Snively loathed equally being ordered to clean those wretched red boots until they shone like rubies.
He rubbed at his cheek, the flushed skin speaking for him.
Naugus clicked his claw. "Slave. I see a smudge on the Small One's boot. Be a dear and clean it for him."
Robotnik was suddenly pulled down to his hands and knees, his mustache brushing the floor.
"No," the ex-tyrant hissed.
Naugus smiled languidly. "Crawl to him."
Robotnik let out a gasp. Snively saw nothing, but imagined it was something magically painful. Still the fat man remained, until the mystical motivation grew too great. Sweat gathered on his egg-shaped head.
Panting for breath, his uncle shimmied across the metal floor. One of his gloved hands nudged the black toe of Snively's boot.
"I will not do this!" Robotnik snarled. His entire body jolted and that hand flopped like a fish. Still he groaned and shook his head.
"Why, Slave! Are you too good to lick a boot?"
More flopping and thrashing. A long whine came from Uncle's throat - and a delighted shiver ran down Snively's spine. What a lovely sound!
He smiled viciously as Robotnik's body stilled, his uncle panting heavily. He traced his foot along that fat bottom lip, and then kicked him in the teeth. Robotnik yelped.
"Not so nice on the receiving end, is it?" Snively rasped. "Now, Julian, shut your bloody mouth and polish my boots."
The red eyes rolled up, glared at him in deadly fashion. For a millisecond, Snively nearly stepped back, he very nearly averted his eyes.
Don't you dare. He's nothing. He's always been.
"Slave. We have asked nicely," Naugus cooed.
The glare continued until another jolt rippled his flab like jello. The red eyes clamped shut. Tongue extended and touched the toe of Snively's boot.
"Oh, that's not adequate! Keep going!"
The tongue trailed along the side.
"Tsk. If I had done such a pitiful job, you would have..." Snively delivered another hard kick to Uncle's precious ivories. Robotnik sputtered, blood oozing over multiple chins.
The fat man snarled, lashing his hand at Snively's leg. Snively dodged it, kicking again, as Naugus unleashed another bout of torture. Snively swore he smelled flesh burning, felt the charged energy radiating from Uncle's shivering form.
His defiance sputtered out, just as Snively's had so many times before.
The ex tyrant wilted and finally relented, cleansing the entirety of the boot, growling under his breath. Snively set his hands on his hips, his teeth gleaming. His heart was thumping, his blood roiling through his veins, his breath heavy - enjoyment bordering on the obscene, but it was a delightful lechery.
He stepped back, chuckling, and tempted to give a pat to the sweaty and humiliated egg dome. "Good boy, Uncle. Maybe I won't deprive you of your dinner tonight."
Naugus raised an eyebrow. "Small One. You have another boot."
Snively grinned. "Of course." He held out his other foot. "Carry on, Slave."
