EEEK OH MY GOSH YOU GET ME!! they’re so freaking cutes I hope they blow UP!!! umm I don’t have a Lot of headcanons for them (not a lot to go off of LOL) but I’ll share what I DO have :3 most of them are twins centric solely because Goose doesn’t have ANY lines about them so it’s a little difficult to write for her LMFAO
also sorry if this is formatted weird or anything, I’m don’t get a lot of asks!! ^^’
- I PERSONALLY headcanon miss Goose as falling Somewhere under the bisexual umbrella AS WELL as being polyamorous (the Goose centered PA polycule is real trust)! I can say for sure that she is at least sapphic in some form (the cave… gulp).
I think the Twins would fall somewhere under the bi umbrella as well, but I don’t think Any (as in all 3) of them have really had the means or care to explore their sexualities. I think it would be especially new to Arora, and I imagine she would struggle with adjusting to a sapphic relationship perhaps…
- A lot of what the Twins say about Gooseberry, especially what Arora says, comes off to me as projection. Arora is already very insecure, so for Otto to have eyes for another woman (he denies it but be so fr rn bro he’s LYING) REALLY bothers her. It bothers her even more that she herself feels some sort of attraction to Goose as well. I think Arora is Very jealous about everything Goose is and has, as well as having internalized homophobia, and initially projects her own self loathing onto her.
- Gooseberry and the Twins have vastly different relationships with their fathers. Goose was very close with her father (eek..), going as far as to split him as an alter when he died (dissociative disorder mention hi). The Twins however, were not close with theirs at all. They were severely neglected by him most of their lives, so for them to see Goose have such a close relationship with her father is deeply triggering for them.
I think Dr. Futterman would be very appealing to them. They crave any sort of fatherly connection, and if they have to get close to Goose to get that then so be it. As sick and twisted as it is, they would rather have a verbally abusive father figure than a neglectful one, as any attention would be better than none at all for them. They initially get close to Goose BECAUSE of Futterman, but I think they quickly fall for Goose herself.
- The Twins are very new to such a maternal behavior, never having a mother themselves. I think it’s initially very jarring for them to be around Gooseberry, who’s always mothering any and everyone. They don’t Dislike it, it’s just Different. I think it’s even appealing to them. It’s very difficult not to fall for Goose’s motherly persona.
- Something else that draws the Twins to Goose is her plurality. I think they can empathize with her, having a body that’s not entirely her own, as well as always just having Someone with her (even if it’s not physical). They don’t fully understand it (Goose doesn’t either, it’s only the 60s LOL), but they can imagine what it’s like I think. They see similarities between her and themselves in that regard.
Now with all the analysis stuff out of the way I can talk about what they’re like together LOL so sorry…
- I think once they get over themselves they could be very sweet. This is Outlast so realistically it’s not going to be all sunshine and rainbows, but I do think they could all be a cute old person polycule :3
- I think Arora’s insecurities initially make it very difficult to believe Goose would actually like them in that way (especially since it seems that everyone else in Sinyala gets a piece of her too LOL). I think at first there’s a lot of self sabotage on Arora’s part, and the relationship would be very rocky and off and on at first. Arora will always have that insecurity, she even has it when it comes to Otto, but I think with persistence her time with Gooseberry would lessen it
- I think all of them would share the love language of gift giving! The Twins would probably spoil her rotten, and would buy her expensive things if they could (they’re trapped in the torture facility so their options are limited LOL). I think Goose would be fond of making them things, like knitting them sweaters or something! The prospect of Arora going “Otto, these clothes are beneath us..” and then still happily wearing whatever Goose makes them is so funny to me LMFAO
- I think they’re all very Touchy too. Touch and physical affection is another love language they share! The Twins are a little unused to another person Besides the other twin being so gentle and tender with them, but they do quite enjoy it :]
- I think Arora is a little Unused to kissing (not a lot of opportunities, as well as her Unorthodox anatomy) but she makes it work for Goose :] she likes when Goose leaves a little mark from her lipstick 😏…
- I like to imagine Goose BEGGING the Twins to let her have her own studio in their new trial environment LMFAOO. They love her so they (reluctantly mind you) let her have a little room in it… ALSO there’s literally a Gooseberry portrait in that trial #whatdatmean
