Juno babies 9 days old
Babies have fur now and one was running around nest. I had a good look and quick photo of all the babies and here's what we have:
ps. Rabbits will not eat or abandon young that are touched, that's a myth. Mum is fine and not the slightest bit stressed.
Blue Dalmatian
Black otter Dalmatian, they have tan ears and tan nape of neck. black otter is unfortunately not recognised in Dalmatian, but cute nonetheless.
Black Dalmatian
Blue self
Mum and babies are doing great, I couldn't be more proud of Juno (their mum).
also fun fact- spotted is allowed in rex and mini rex, being called Dalmatian. usually the gene, called Broken (aka. butterfly), is only allowed in a blanket over the back. It is named Spotted in Old English (English spot), Rhinelander, giant papillon (and US checkered giant) and dwarf papillon.

Baby mini rex rabbits at 31 days old
All of Juno's babies are female strangely, I wonder the gender of the DOA baby?
Juno babies are 4 days old now
Juno is looking after her kits wonderfully, they are fat and lively :) some have grown fur aswell now.
pics and video underneath reassurance
Just to put peoples minds at ease-
Its a myth that rabbits eat or abandon their young if you touch the babies
This myth also extends to baby birds. Domestic rabbits do not abandon their young over your smell and wild rabbits will not aswell.
that being said- it is best to leave wild rabbit kits and wild bird chicks alone. predators could be watching you and if not, your scent could draw them there.
ps. you need to check domestic rabbit nests for dead kits and see if she's feeding them (dehydration shows as sunken wrinkled skin).
The largest kit.
sorry for annoying noise, they were too cute for me.
The three Dalmatian and a blue self. one spotted and the blue have fur now.
more of biggest kit-
I do not like disturbing baby bunnies for long as I like them safely warm in their nest. Mum knew I had the kit and doesn't mind.
So I only took a nest pic and very quick pics/video of one baby.
There will be better pics when they are three weeks old. this is as they leave the nest and can regulate body heat better.
